Information Dissemination Plan on Educational

Landscape for the New Normal

A. Introduction/Rationale:
Information is often disseminated in the hope that every entity of an institution will
improve their knowledge base and subsequently make better judgements in future
situations, especially in supporting the institution’s endeavours.
In such a time as this, when educational sector faces great challenges due to the
widespread pandemic, it is indeed a good practice to disseminate  information promptly
when announcing major policies and measures, to update the stakeholders and the
community.
Sufficient information should be provided in accessible and culturally appropriate
ways, providing information about benefits and disadvantages of a certain project,
activity or undertakings.
Recently, the Department of Education (DepEd), together with the schools of
different levels, spearheaded the information drive about enrolment procedures through
social media and other platforms.
For the educational process for this school year, DepEd mandates different schools
to participate in the information dissemination on educational landscape for the new
normal.

B. Scope/Objectives:

The Sta. Catalina Bata National High School specifically aims to:

 Inform stakeholders about the educational landscape of the new normal

o Equip parents and students with knowledge and processes about the
modular delivery mode of learning

o Enable LGUs with the first-hand information about the delivery mode
to be implemented by the school
o Broaden the awareness of other stakeholders about the new normal
 Use different means of disseminating information
C. Target Dissemination Group/Target Group:

If there is a message, there is a receiver. So it is in the Dissemination Plan for

the educational landscape of schools for the school year. The target group for the
dissemination of information are as follows:

 Residences of nearby barangays

o Sta. Catalina Bata
o Sta. Catalina Matanda
o Nabaong-Garlang
o Bubulong Munti
o Mataas Na Parang
 Stakeholders
o LGU
o Parents
o Students
o Guardians
 Non-Government Unit (NGO)

D. Dissemination Tools:
Since information dissemination is very significant during this time of change,
the means to achieve the goals is of equal importance.
To reach this end, the School will use the following:
1. Development of Website – the School will create a website or a social media
page whose primary objective is to disseminate information about the learning
modalities and the educational landscape as a whole.
a. The page or website will also be used to cater questions and inquiries by
the stakeholders especially by the students’ parents.

landscape for the school year and the learning delivery mode to be imposed.

b. Other stakeholders will also be encouraged to share the posts or
presentations posted by the teachers and staff.
3. Brochures/pamphlets – brochures and pamphlets will also be reproduced that
contains necessary information and will be distributed to the stakeholders.
4. Orientation/lectures – the school will conduct virtual orientation and lectures
about the new normal, delivery modes and the educational landscape as a whole;
stakeholders will be the key customers.

E. Other Dissemination Activities Under Way

Last June, the School began working on information drive and information
dissemination. The following are currently under way:
1. Working Groups/Committee – the School is currently creating its committee for
information dissemination
2. Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) – presently, the school is revising a MOA
with LGUs for a more efficient information dissemination activities.
3. Info Drive – the School continues to diligently share information, answer queries
and clarify issues about the educational landscape for the new normal.
