Scope of Work Statement

The project scope consists of the following element:

 Project objectives
 Deliverables
 Milestones
 Technical Requirements
 Limits of Exclusions
 Reviews with customer

Project objectives:

The project objectives of our project are as followed:

 Creating job opportunity for unemployed doctors and medical staff who are not allowed to do jobs
outside their home (unemployment reduction).
 Flourishing developing countries economy through health sector
 Developing the quality of life through the technology potential execution
 Integrating health services in a package of application accessible to all
 Integrating doctors and bringing them on a common platform
 Helping less privileged doctors to technology and developing condition so if receives patients of specific
condition can consult with professional doctors online

Deliverables:

The deliverables of our Project are as followed:

 Making dedicated software for proper online communication:

o Since there is a lot of communications software currently available, but we want to make special
customized software for this project, that is easy for doctors to use. So that there is no
dysconnectivity or other technological problems such as a device down or other problems. That’s
why it is required for our project to develop a special software for delivery of services to people.

 Making Website:
o In our project, we will create a dedicated channel for our doctors where they can post and share
their personal experience of treating various patients. They may also share the development of
research in the medical sector.

 Providing System:
o Physicians will be provided with multipurpose systems such as laptops with a good amount of
power storage, including all accessories such as input and output devices, including all integrated
communication devices such as microphone phones and camera devices.

Milestones:

Without milestones, a project plan and strategy cannot turn into a real and successful project. In our project
development of the software and website and providing systems and internet devices to doctors to less
privileged areas are our milestones for getting these things we will reach to our goals that we want.

Technical Requirements:

The technical requirement of our project is as followed:

Limits and exclusions:

Limitations and exclusions of project are as followed:

 We can't reach all doctors around the world because of transportation constraints and millions of
doctors around the globe.
 Due to the limited number of technical staff available to us, we cannot provide technical
assistance to all the doctors.
 Our website can not include all the languages spoken across the entire globe.
 Cost is also the weakness because a significant amount of capital is needed for such a project.

Reviews with customer

Our end-user are doctors i.e. our customers. We will review the application by different medical professionals
and technical experts, such as websites and software developers, to express their opinion on any inclusion or
exclusion of the project.
Project Priority Matrix

Considering time, performance and budget with the context of contemporary issue of pandemic COVID 19 to
complete the project. We have made a priority matrix to complete this project in the following manner:

Time:
In this project we have a constrained time of six months that the application should be launched in the market
and people use it. Time is constrained and the project should be completed within 28th February 2021 or as
sooner, the better. However, as the situation changed since January of this year, the time period shall be as
much short as possible. Because, we can use this platform in the treatment of Corona Virus too which will be a
beneficial way of communication for consultation and treatment.

Performance:
In this project three major teams work that involves IT professionals, medical professionals and our
management team. Performance of the software is very important as if the software performance was low, this
may create misunderstanding and the life of the patient will be in danger. Now, performance is the most crucial
part that should be considered. Its sensitivity should be managed with full care and technically equipped to not
raise any issue in the time of implementation. So, performance is the second priority that is considered in the
priority matrix.

Budget:
A total budget of 1 million is allocated for the project to be completed and in case we need for more budget
there is a flexibility of loan that shall be offered by financial institutions. So, we will not compromise the scope
and time but we can spend more in case of required budgets. Although budget has allocated efficiently in each
sector but still if were not sufficient our project team can request loan in order to successfully complete the
project.

Following is the matrix we have developed for our project:

Time Quality Cost

Work Breakdown Structure (WBS)

Once the scope and deliverables have been identified, the work of the project can be successively subdivided
into smaller and smaller work elements. The outcome of this hierarchical process is called the work breakdown
structure (WBS). Work break down structure is basically dividing your larger work into smaller works, that are
more achievable and accurately attainable.

In our project main deliverables are Communication Software, Website Development and Providing Systems.
We will subdivide our main deliverables into sub-deliverables and work packages. The WBS of our project is
as followed:

Organization Breakdown Structure (OBS)

Organization breakdown structure is basically hierarchy and graphic representation of our project showing
which of our team members do what tasks.

Organization Breakdown Structure of our Project are as followed:

 Project Manager:
Project manager will be our main focal person, managing all the staff and all the activities relating to the
project. He is mainly responsible for the completion of the project.

 HR Manager
HR manager will be reporting directly to the project manager and will be responsible for hiring, firing
for the employees that are technical assistants etc.

 Finance Manager
Finance manager will be also directly reporting to project manager and will be looking after all the
finance matters of the Project.

 IT Expert:
IT will be directly reporting to the Project Manager. He will be responsible for the development of
Software and the website for our Project. He will be supervising Software Engineer and Web Developer.

o Software Engineer:
He will be developing the software; he will be supervising the two other software Engineers in their day
to day activities.

o Web Developer:
He will be developing the website for our project and he will be reporting to the IT Expert.

 Doctor:
Doctors will also be reporting to the Project Manager. Doctors will guide about the options need to be
added in the software usage. They will give feedback about end product and will examine the working
of our software, website and systems and give his reviews regarding any changes There will also be two
other doctors assisting the Doctors head. The more doctors give reviews about the end product, the
better software we can develop.
