Lesson Plan: Kahoot!

Content-Based Central Focus: SWBAT follow along with a timed quiz in English created by
the teacher through the website Kahoot! and correctly answer the questions in the time given.
Daily Content Objective: SWBAT use their knowledge of English to read and answer
questions
Daily Language Objective: Students will improve on their reading skills by answering short
questions

Language Function: Students will Academic Vocabulary and Language

individually take a short quiz to determine Demands:

Language Supports: Students will test their knowledge of English grammar rules.
Materials/Technology Used: The teacher will use the Kahoot! website. The students will
download the free app on their phones or go to the website to access the quiz.

They will then set up the app

or website to get ready to take
the quiz.
Independent The teacher will now host the 20 min

 join in with the access code.

When all the students are

signed in, the quiz will begin.
Formative/Summative Groupwork is done as a formative assessment to evaluate how
