CALIBRATION OF PACKER SPOUTS.

1.0 CALIBRATION PROCEDURE FOR PACKER SPOUTS :

The Instrument engineer/Foreman/Assistant Foreman takes action as follows, for calibration

:
1.1 ZERO CALIBRATION:

1.1.1 Clean the bag chair for all spouts.

1.1.2 Check mechanical alignment of bag chairs and load cell assembly.

1.1.3 Select the tare symbol on spout controller and make it zero kgs.

1.1.4 Apply upward and downward force on the bag chair, Note the readings after applying &
before applying the force. If any variation observed between the two readings, calibration
has to be done with respective parameters .

1.2 SPAN CALIBRATION:

1.2.1 Enter password of the spout controller and go to calibration mode .

1.2.2 Apply 50 Kg weight to the bag chair.

1.2.3 Observe the display of respective spout for 50 Kg and remove test weight from the weigher
and check for zero if any variation observed repeat the procedure point no-1.1 and 1.2.

1.2.4 Record the observations in the Instrument calibration format
