PARENTAL SUPPORT AND IT’S EFFECT IN CHILDREN’S ACADEMIC PERFORMANCE

Main Objectives:

This study aims to know the effectiveness of parental support in the academic performance of
Grade 1 Learners in English Classes.

Central Problem

What is the effect of parental support in the academic performance of Grade 1 learners in
selected English classes?

Research Questions:

1. What are the contribution of parental support disparities in the English Performance of Grade
1 Learners ?

2. How does parental support contribute to student academic success in school?

3. Is there any relationships between Grade 1 students’ academic performance in English and
their parents’ support?

Hypotheses:

1. There is no significant difference in English achievement between Grade 1 learners whose


parents were highly support in school academic performance.

2. There is no significant difference in English achievement between Grade 1 learners whose


parents were not highly support in school academic performance.
