1. Booking a Party:
Contact us via email, phone, or Facebook to discuss your party details and to
reserve a date. After availability is confirmed you will receive an invoice at
the email address you provided that can be paid with credit card or PayPal. Parties are not
officially booked until the non-refundable deposit is received. We reserve the right to “bump”
your party at anytime until that payment -is received. You must make the deposit payment
within 12 hours of booking your party. All Parties are reserved on a "first come, first serve"
basis. Every party is allotted the amount of time chosen by the family and noted on this form.
Parties must begin at scheduled start time. A $50 fee will be charged for every
30 minutes over allotted time.

2. When Deposit is Received: Your party is officially booked & your spot is reserved in our
“Royal Schedule” when we have received the deposit payment. You will receive a receipt
confirming your payment from PayPal or Square. Deposits are non-refundable.

3. Balance: The balance payment is due IN CASH at the start of the party. It must be in
exact change & paid to the character before they will entertain. Generally the parent will pass
off an envelope containing the balance & any tip/gratuity when the character comes to the
door. ****IMPORTANT**** When the character arrives at the party they will call you at the
number listed above & payment of the remaining balance must be paid in full prior to the
character entering your party. Please watch for the phone call. If you do not answer, they will
not come in & the party clock will start on time.

4. Hold Harmless: Princess My Party is NOT responsible for any injuries, negligence,
or unruly behavior during parties. Please act responsibly & chaperone all party guests. Please
note that the characters are there to entertain & are not babysitters. Parents are expected to
supervise the children & assist with discipline when needed.

5. Travel Fees: Travel fees are included in the package price for up to 60 miles. Any mileage
beyond 60 will be assessed at $0.50/mile.

6. Actors: We pride ourselves on having a cast of wonderful & talented actors & actresses.
We have several actors that play each role and cannot guaranty actors due to scheduling
& availability.

7. Cancellations, Refunds and Rescheduling: Deposits are non-refundable If you need to


reschedule your party we will do our best to accommodate your request for a $25
convenience fee pending availability. In the event of bad weather, serious illness, or other
unforeseen emergencies, we reserve the right to cancel the event and offer an alternative
date or refund. Communication can be done via telephone only.

8. Responsibilities: Princess My Party does not assume responsibility or liability for


accidents or damages caused during your party. However, you can be assured the party host
will treat your home and guests with respect and care. Princess My Party is not responsible
for allergic reactions to wearing any costumes, cosmetics, or accessories, or consuming any
food or beverages before, during or after the party. It is the responsibility of the guest and/or
guests' parent or guardian to inform the client of any allergy restrictions and take the
appropriate steps to avoid contact with such items. Princess My Party is not affiliated with
any other company and any similarities are coincidental.

9. Activities: We will entertain your party guests & host the party for the duration of our
visit. If you would like to include cake time as part of our visit, please let us know during the
confirmation call otherwise we will assume you are doing cake before or after our visit. Each
party is different due to the age of the children, number of guests, space provided, etc. We
have indicated a menu of activities on our website and Facebook page. We will get to as
many of these activities in the allotted time as possible but, cannot guarantee that we will get
to every activity. It depends on the children, the environment, and the pace of the party &
space provided. Rest assured that the children will have a magical time & will be thoroughly
entertained for the duration of our visit. If the children are very young we encourage parents
to help the children & interact with the characters during the games & activities in order to
enhance the party experience. We have a 15:1 ratio.

10. Venues: We can travel to any type of venue your party is located. We most frequently
perform in homes, churches, and at park pavilions. We also have our own venue in Fond du
Lac called “Princess My Party Place” that is available to rent for parties for $75 for 3 hours.
Our venue includes manicure table, dress up station, makeup station, comfy sitting area for
stories & a television, cake table, and photography backdrop to fit your theme. There is room
for 12-15 children & 2-4 adults. If you are using a place of business (ie. Chucky Cheese,
Monkey Joes, etc.) that some venues have their own restrictions and guidelines. Please check
if your venue allows outside entertainment before booking with us.

11. Outdoor Parties: Outdoor venues are always welcome but, remember this is Wisconsin
and the weather can be unpredictable! If you are planning an outdoor party, always have a
backup plan in the event of bad weather. Since the costumes and wigs worn by the
performers are extremely hot and delicate, it is preferred to have a covered or shaded area
for some if not all activities as outdoor venues are more difficult and require that our
costumes go through a rigorous cleaning process after being exposed to outdoors. We also
suggest not having a bounce house or deflating the bounce house during our time in order for
our actors to maintain the scheduled activities. If you choose to allow children to bounce
during our visit we cannot promise that we will get to all of the activities listed. Some
characters are able to bounce with the children & some are not. It is at their discretion & the
discretion of the bounce house rental company. Please let us know upon booking if your
venue is outdoors. Reminder that physics has taught us that humid weather & cold weather
effects balloons so, they may pop. Face paint may be difficult to apply in the humidity or in
the cold as well. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!

12. Ill, Upset, Misbehaving Children: The entertainer is only responsible to engage the
children in party activities. Any behavior or health issues with children must be taken care of
by a parent or party host. Good behavior is always promoted, but it is the responsibility of the
hostess
to monitor and take charge of any children who are not behaving or who do not
want to participate in the party activities. Please note that all of our entertainers are First Aid
& CPR certified and are happy to assist with basic first aid requirements when necessary but,
they do not carry first aid supplies with them. We will deliver ONE anti-bullying message
during the party should the children hit, kick, punch, or be otherwise disrespectful to the
character. Should this behavior continue, our characters will leave the party & no refund will
be given.

13. Boys at a Princess Party & Girls at a Pirate/Superhero Party: Yes! We can discuss how to
incorporate boys and girls into your event activities. We will customize your party to meet the
needs of your guests. No two parties are ever the same! Please note that sometimes boys like
to have their nails painted/eyeshadow at princess parties. If you do not want the boys to have
this, even if they would like it, please let the princess know & she will supply temporary
tattoos instead. If the boys do not want to do the makeup application they will be given a
temporary tattoo but, we have found lots of boys love to try new things & we are happy to
accommodate with the permission of the parent. Please let us know during the confirmation
call if you will have boys at your princess party or girls at your superhero party so that we are
able to plan accordingly with supplies.

14. My child attended another party with your company. Will our party be the same? If your
child attended another party by our company please let us know! We will provide a special
gift to the birthday child for booking from a referral! Also, no two parties are ever exactly the
same. We have many games, stories, songs, and activities so, the general theme of the party
will be the same but, the activities may be different. We also customize parties depending on
the age of the child.

15. Number of Guests: Our liability insurance will welcome up to 15 children/guests,


including the birthday girl/boy. Any additional guests require a second character to
accommodate your party. This is non-negotiable.

16. Arriving Late: All parties will begin at the time scheduled by the host/hostess and will end
at the end of the party duration time. Characters may have other Royal Engagements and
cannot stay beyond the time allotted to your party. All events are based on a schedule and
work best when all guests arrive on time. Late guests are welcome to join in upon arrival. If
the character will be late due to traffic or drive time between parties, he or she will contact
you at the phone number you provided to let you know. If the character arrives late, they will
stay for the duration of the time that you have paid for. Please note: We have no control over
traffic, car accidents en route, detours, etc so on the rare occasion that we will be late for the
party we will contact you by phone to let you know & will still honor the full time that you
booked. (ie, if you booked an hour, you will still get the full hour) and payment in full will still
be required.

17. Supplies: Our characters bring most things needed to conduct the activities. Each party is
different, so we bring different things to every party. They will need an outlet for their music
player and a damp cloth/water/paper towel for temporary tattoos.

18. What do parents need to provide for the party: Princess My Party does
not provide any food, beverages, or supplies for eating or decorating. We are, however, more
than willing to cut or serve cake and beverages. We request that you provide a clean, dry,
OPEN SPACE for the entertain and a POWER SOURCE for our music player. If a table is
available for makeovers/coloring we appreciate it. We also appreciate a chair for storytelling
if one is available. If it is not, have no worries, we can adapt to the space. Please note that if
we are
delivering a cake, the parent will need to provide plates, napkins, and silverware. If you have
booked a photographer with your package please note that photos will be emailed to you
approximately 1 week after the party. The average is 40 photos that you are able to
download, print, share, etc.

19. Book with confidence:


Princess My Party is registered & insured. We WILL show up. We will email you the week of
the party to confirm by Thursday before the party. We will call you the morning of the party
to confirm again so, please look for a call from a 920 area code. If you DO NOT Receive a call
by 11 am the morning of the party please contact our office at 920-204-1540. Sometimes if
you have changed your phone number or we have a different number on file we cannot reach
you to confirm. Our actors are trained & experienced. We are parent tested & approved with
awesome references on both our facebook page & website. We are also members of several
performing arts groups & associations. If we need to cancel your party for any reason (which
is extremely rare) you will receive a full refund immediately.

20. WHAT CAN I DO TO ENSURE THAT THE PARTY GOES SMOOTHLY?


There are a few things that always help with the fluidity of the party day:

1. Have water available for the character to drink throughout your party.
2. Have a power source available close to where the party activities will be taking place &
allow the character to control the music & volume as needed.
3. If you are planning an outside party, make sure the area is guarded from heat/sun, or from
any wet weather.
4. Have a clean, dry, shaded area for activities, free of dirt, mud, water and any other bad
weather conditions that may cause an ill effect to the party activities and the guests.
5. Please be available to aid your character entertainer if issues arise with children needing
assistance or misbehaving.
6. Please refrain from asking the character entertainer personal information as they will be in
character the entire length of the visit. We do not disclose the real last
names or home cities of our cast to protect their privacy.
7. Please feel free to post a review & photos on our website after your party. If we repost
your
photo/review we will create a virtual thank you card using your photos &
post it on our Facebook page! We may even use your photo for our profile
picture or cover photo for the week!
8. And last but not least, have your cameras ready throughout the party, you don't want to
miss
special moments!

I understand that until I submit the agreed upon payment in full my party
date/time is not reserved. Our office is located at 14 Western Ave Fond du
Lac, WI and we can meet with you to discuss party details upon your request.
Office hours are Monday-Friday noon- 8pm. We are closed on the weekends. All payments
must be made with a credit card or echeck from the invoice and the balance MUST be paid in
cash at the party.

PLEASE NOTE THAT PAYMENT CONSTITUTES AGREEMENT OF THE TERMS & CONDITIONS
LISTED IN THE CONTRACT & FAQ. (Tip/Gratuity is NOT included in your party package.)
