Listed below some imporant checks for avoiding errors or gaps in the reports generated:
a. Voyage details (Jan~Dec refer to instructions in rows 148 and 149). The amount of cargo carried is to be entered under the
respective grade/type and the distance transported is to be entered. These are required for the EEOI calculations. Container
ships, please enter mass in the Dry Bulk Cargoes column (Jan~Dec cells J152-J161, W152-W161) and also TEUs.
Only voyages completed in the current month need to be recorded i.e. voyages that span over two/more months must be
recorded in the month of voyage completion only.
e.g. Voyage commenced on 25-Jan-18 and completed on 05-Feb-18, must be recorded in February only.
For incomplete voyages in December, cargo carried and distance transported through December to be entered.
e.g: for a voyage from 20-Dec-18 to 08-Jan-19, enter cargo carried and distance travelled from 20-Dec-18 to 31-Dec-18 in the Dec-
18 sheet. Cargo carried and distance transported from 01-Jan-19 to 08-Jan-19 to be entered in Jan-19 sheet next year.

b. Main Engine MCR, MCR (original) need to be updated here. These values would be identical, unless the engine has been de-
rated, in which case the reduced MCR is to be entered in the Main Engine MCR (D12) cell on this (Ship Info) sheet.
The Main Engine and Aux Engine RPM need to be updated in the Ship Info sheet, essential for identifying NOx values
corresponding to Engine Tier.

c. Aux Engine Power Developed (Jan~Dec - cells C38-G38 as applicable); required for SOx and NOx calculations. Average
generator (electrical) load in the month taken by an engine to be entered.

d. Aux Engine Running Hours (Jan~Dec refer cell C39-G39 as applicable), this is required for the SOx and NOx calculations for the
Auxiliary Engines. Only the hours run by the machine in the current month is to be entered and not its total running hours.

e. Boiler running hours (Jan~Dec refer cell O13 and O14), data to be entered.

f. Distance (travelled) in miles (M13-M14), Steaming Time (L13-L14) and Main Engine Running Hours (N13-N14) are required for
the SOx and NOx calculations of the Main engine and in the Summary and Bunkers sheets. For running hours fields, only the hours
run by the machine in the current month are to be entered and not the total running hours.

g. Average Sulphur content % (on monthly sheets refer cell C26, C27, E26, E27) of the fuel types consumed in the month, required
for the SOx calculations (enter only the numeric value without the percentage - % - sign).

h. Monitoring (Jan~Dec cells E65-E70), the condition of the equipment should be selected in the yellow coloured cells for correct
representation in the Summary data sheet. The Comments / Descriptions column is for writing additional information, and is not
copied in the annual summary.

i. Ballast water exchange (Jan~Dec cells I124-I126) to be entered, this is required for data in the Gas, Garbage, Ballast sheet. For
ships equipped with a Ballast Water Treatment System, data to be filled in the BWTSData sheet as well.

j. Packaging (Jan~Dec cells G140-G145), please mention whether the packaging material is returned back to the supplier and if
retained on board. This data is summarised in the Packaging sheet.

k. Consumption/Purchase of refrigerant gas (Jan~Dec cells A167-F167) to be recorded. This is required for Gas, Garbage, Ballast
sheet.

l. Radio Traffic, enter the numeric value only and the currency symbol (For e.g.: USD, $) is not to be entered.

TEC-29C (01-Jan-18) Ship Info Page 1 of 128

m. The cells where no data is applicable for your ship is to be left blank.

n. Annual Stats (Env) Tab - If the vessel is fitted with a Ballast Water Treatment Systems and/or a Garbage Compactor, Please fill up
the maker, model and capacity of equipment on board.

o. Biodegradable Cleaning Chemicals total consumption quantity only to be entered in Jan~Dec sheets in cell L167. Exclude
water treatment chemical / additives.
Only Non-Biodegradable Chemicals to be entered in the sheet named "ChemicalsUsed" for all the months.
