How am I going to go
about the online
application process?
ONLINE APPLICATION PROCESS

Mapúa University implements a fully-online admission process for incoming senior high
school, college freshmen students and select graduate school programs. It is designed
to provide a seamless application process from registration to enrollment.

Applicants may register and take the Mapúa Scholastic Aptitude Examination (MSAE)
through the Cardinal EDGE (powered by Blackboard) anytime. Results are released
immediately, giving the applicant the option to either reserve for enrollment or
continue with the enrollment proper.
MAPÚA SCHOLASTIC APTITUDE EXAMINATION (MSAE)

The Mapúa Scholastic Aptitude Examination (MSAE) is part of


the screening process to determine if the applicant is
qualified for admission in the university. It is designed to assess
academic potential for success of the applicants’ chosen
academic strand or program.

Upon confirmation of payment,
you may now proceed in choosing
a schedule for your MSAE.

you log-in to your exam portal.

your preferred program,
you may either reserve or

Step 3 : Fill out Student Data Sheet (SDS).
All enrollees are required to submit completely filled-out Student Data
Sheet (SDS). Information collected on this form is for legitimate purposes
specifically for admission of the enrollee to their preferred program or
strand.

Some parts of the Student Data Sheet (SDS) is automatically filled-out


based on the responses provided during the application process and may
not be edited.

The Registrar's Office will update your information based on the hard copy
of Student Data Sheet (SDS) that you will submit via courier.

To proceed to the next step, please tick the box of applicant declaration
to submit your SDS.

fee and other charges

If you choose to pay through installment,
you can pay the actual amount or the
minimum payment of 5,000 pesos.

We gave you the option to pay the

You will use your student number as the


account number when paying the fees.
Step 8: An e-mail
confirmation will be
received

As a final step in the online enrollment, the


enrollee must make sure to check their e-mail
for enrollment confirmation. They will receive
a message that indicates their official student
number and activation link of their MyMapua
account. They may view their Generated
Schedule and Assessment (GSA) through the
Applicant Portal.
What are the enrollment
requirements?
For regular enrollees:
• Original Grade 12 report card with the applicant’s eligibility for admission
to senior high school duly signed by the school principal

• Original Certificate of good moral character (dated not earlier than


February of the completion year) from the high school (with school seal)

• Original birth certificate printed on PSA paper

• Fully accomplished Student Data Sheet (Hard Copy)

• 1 pc. ID picture (plain background), size 1 ½” x 1 ½”

• One (1) long brown envelope to contain all of the above

What are your payment options?

•We encourage you to pay online using Paymaya or Landbank ePayment Portal which
are available thru the online enrollment portal. Just click the logo of your preferred
payment channel and it will be redirected to the page of your chosen channel.
•You may also pay in-campus or pay in-person in any RCBC or Cebuana Lhuillier
branches.

What is the account number of Mapua University for payments?

•On the enrollment portal, the account number of Mapua University has been
imbedded on the page, thus, all you have to input is your Card Details.

If there will be a vaccine already, when will face-to-face classes resume?

•We will follow the mandate and policies of the government around the resumption of
face-to-face classes. For SHS, online classes will be conducted for the whole school
year.

I am not capable of taking online class. What can I do?

•Students have the option to enroll at the time when they are ready to go back to
school with the necessary tools for learning.

Do we need a laptop for online classes?

• Since our classes are conducted online via LMS and other digital learning tools, the
students will have to be ready with the necessary learning devices such as
desktop/laptop computer, tablet or mobile phones.

How will the classes be for the lab courses?

• Schools and departments are working very hard to simulate laboratory


work using different online practices: uploading discussions video demo of
experiments, simulated exercises using different software like Matlab, virtual
labs, and other online practices.
• Laboratory courses are still being offered in the 4th Quarter. However, the
University will only offer laboratory courses where the course requirements
will be met based on the standards of the University.

How many terms in a year?

• For undergraduate (UG), we are using the Quarterm System. Hence, 4


terms in a year.
