HOW TO WRITE THE CONCLUSION OF A PROBLEM - SOLUTION ESSAY A


Before watching the video, write the 3 components of a body paragraph and
explain them.

* A body paragraph must include

a. Topic sentence: one of the problems mentioned in the thesis statement.


b. Supporting details: the explanation of the problem, they must include a reliable
source
c. Solution: how the problem can be solved: includes what, who and how
d. Resulting sentence: what will happen if/when the solution is applied

ACTIVITY 1 : Organize the body paragraph below. In the ( ) place the number that corresponds

(4) As a result, people will be easy identifiable and they will be more responsible with the
content they upload or download.

(1) Secondly , another problem about internet usage concerns anonymity.

(2) For instance , Rogers (2016) stated that “As internet users can easily hide their identity and
even impersonate others. Many crimes such as identity theft and child abuse result from the
ease with which criminals can operate anonymously online”. Many dangerous sites are easily
accessible to criminals because they can register in a site and claim to be a different person.

(3) As a way out – to improve/solve this situacion, the Ministry of Communications and
Information Technology could propose a system of online identification, similar to a passport,
this system will allow all internet users to be verified and traced before, while and after using
any internet services.

2. Highlight each part of the conclusion with different colors in the sample below.
Sample:
Considering everything, rising numbers of illicit means of transport and women being harassed
are the consequences of overpopulated cities that do not have appropriate systems to
transport. This worrying tendency can be stopped by meeting up with informal transporters to
legitimize their work and teaching women how to defend themselves. This would involve the
support of the Ministry of Transport and the City Major, as well as, the local Police Department .
By doing so, the difficulties caused by not having enough transportation systems will be reduced
providing life quality to main cities inhabitants.

problems that people who go to school and have a job at the same time experience.
