Islamic education can refer to efforts by
the Muslim community to educate its
own, to pass along the heritage of
Islamic knowledge, first and foremost
through its primary sources, the Qur'an
and the Sunnah.
Islam placed a high value on education,
and, as the faith spread among diverse
peoples, education became an important
channel through which to create a
universal and cohesive social order.

Islamic Education from the perspective of philosophy

Pragmatism: Metaphysic: Axiology:

the realm of philosophy is deeply
looking towards the fact, value,
knowledge and God.
the thought of Islam concentrates on
the aspects between human, human and
God, and human with the environment.
Obviously, Islamic Philosophy of
Education teaches humans to recognize
their Creator, that is Allah, and the way
they should behave for each of the
relation.
From the view of Islam, axiology can
be defined as behaviour that includes
the entire manners in human’s life.
Moral and manner are the main
branches in this perspective.
