Antonio Pinho is the Corporate Executive Director for Environment, Health & Safety
at General Electric Latin America, where he is responsible for EHS compliance and
performance, for driving culture and values, and guiding operations towards EHS
excellence. He has more than 19 years with GE, where he held several positions
in Brazil and the US, including Manufacturing and Engineering Manager,
International Auditor, Six Sigma Black Belt, and diverse Environment, Health and
Safety leadership roles, in different businesses and countries. Pinho received his
M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from the Catholic University in Rio de Janeiro,
Safety Engineering degree from Federal University Rio de Janeiro, and Engineering
Economics from Rio de Janeiro State University. He lives in Rio de Janeiro with his
wife and two children.

Dr Ivan Drummond is a general Surgeon graduated in 1983 in Rio de Janeiro
with a Master degree in emergency and Trauma , Professor of State University of
Rio de Janeiro, Instructor of the ATSL American College of Surgeons , specialized
in Emergency and Trauma , with more than 100 publishes papers in the subject,
4 text books and more that 200 congress participation. In 1999, Dr. Ivan
Drummond was the head of emergency medicine at one of the most renowned
hospitals in Rio de Janeiro, where he practiced in the fi eld of trauma surgery.
After returning from training, offered by the WHO in Germany, on special rescue
and multiple-victims accident management, he observed the need for a medical
services fi rm specialized in supporting companies working in remote locations
in Brazil. This gave rise to International Health Care, fi rst called Trauma Care
International. This was the beginning of one of the most successful businesses
to grant medical and occupational care to offshore companies in Brazil. Today,
International Health Care has a portfolio of over 40 clients, to which they offer
consultations in occupational health, executive international check-ups, both on-
and offshore medical rescue teams throughout Brazil, support to expatriates, risk
evaluation for work in remote locations and support to workers and their families
in all cities in Brazil.

Jake van den Dries has 20+ years experience working for International Oil
Companies across 4 continents. He is a Chartered Fellow of the Institute of
Occupational Safety & Health (CFIOSH), a registered EU safety professional
(EurOSHM), has an MSc* in Risk Management & Safety Technology from Aston
University, and a BSc in Mechanical Engineering - Energy Technology from The
