15:57 Guy Belshaw
Stunning isn’t it, absolutely stunning.
15:59 Drew
I’ve got to ask, what’s that thing worth?
16:01 Guy Belshaw
Certainly hundreds of thousands.
16:03 Drew
I was gonna say it’s an easy 250 and possibly
500.
16:06 Guy Belshaw
Yeah.
16:07 Drew
I love it. You know my history with it, I have a
huge passion for this my entire life, from sitting

British history at its very, very best. It’s a big
rich part of our historical past. It’s important. It’s
a great place, I can’t wait to crack on.

Really? OK.
Jon Tredant
Yeah.
03:46 Drew

SALVAGE HUNTERS SERIES 14 EPISODE 9

03:50 Drew IV
10:03:52 Drew interview with marble topped console There is a console table there with a wonderful
table marble top. The base is nice, the whole thing
stands very well. It’s in ash, could be used as a
server but it’s more console. Great size.
Unusual.
10:04:05 Sequence continues as Drew buys the 04:05 Jon Tredant
console table for £900, they shake hands I tell you what, as we’re having a bit of a deal I
will sell it if you want it for 900.
04:09 Drew
900 quid?
04:11 Jon Tredant
900 quid to you. Done. Thank you.
10:04:14 Drew interview with cutaways of the console 04:14 Drew IV
table Paid £900 for it, just a very good piece of
furniture. Now consoles of that type, if it was an
18th century one or an Irish one would cost you
an arm and a leg. That one isn't going to cos it’s
second half of the 19th century, couldn't be
more English, which really sort of knocks the
value of it as a proper proper thing but you still
get all of the look.
