About
This report is made to provide the details of the strategies implemented by the TCS courier’s
services. I visited TCS at Metro branch and met Mr. Syed Wasif Iqbal and Mr. Shahbaz Balouch,
both are the corporate sales Head in Karachi.

This report explain the different strategies TCS follow for its different services.

Company Profile
The reason of TCS is to persistently endeavor to realize fabulousness - both on and off the work.

Milestones of the Company:

 In 1985, Countrywide extension to over 100 areas to meet Pakistan.

Award.
 In 2009, accepted a huge Boeing 727-200F into TCS aviation Fleet and propelled the retails
center franchise model.
 In 2012, launch the voice of consumers and E-Business division to attach the E-marketplace.
 In 2014, TCS holding shaped for consolidating companies in Pakistan, launch TCS HAZIR
and also E-COM made for its clients,
 In 2005, upgrade 737-200 to 737-300 and opened first temperature-controlled warehouse
facility,
 In 22006, TCS launched “We Move You” and provide supply chain advisory division. It also
signed an alliance with UPS.
 In 2017-2018, launched work from home and implemented the project management system.
It also qualifies the primary Pakistani company for the license of TIR.
 In 2019, launched the “Envio” portal for integration and also enhance digital collaboration
to use the TCS platform.

Strategies Follow

Mr.Syed Wasif and Mr. Shahbaz Balouch informed with an half an hour section of interview that they
follow different strategies for their different services. Due to the shortage of time they only discussed
some of the services like MMS, and TCS Logistic (Warehousing and Distribution)
TCS offers a total printing arrangement from information accepting, to planning and designing as per the
customers’ necessity. TCS MMS business (Mail Management Solution) and MPS (Managed Print Solution)
comprises of 2 main businesses: print and bulk distribution. TCS provide efficient delivery of documents
like: statements, invoices, bills and much more.
According to the statement of Mr. Shahbaz , TCS portal will collect the data from all banks compile them
and after printing the data of around 2.3 million, it will distributed over the Pakistan within 30 days,
therefore they follow responsiveness strategy. Previously they were 500 people to do this work but now
only 10 people are compiling the data via portal therefore they follow the efficient strategy too.

W&D has a desirous clientele in Telecom, FMCG, Pharma, I.T., and other sectors. W&D is spread over 1.4
million square feet in, Karachi, Lahore, Faisalabad and Islamabad offering proficient and prudent
warehousing services. They also provide warehouse facility outside the Pakistan.

According to them, TCS provide warehouse facility to one of the American company and that company
operates the warehouse operations from its Regional office. When it receive the order system recognized
it and TCS will provide the material to the required customers in Pakistan within Maximum 60 minutes.
Therefore it follow the responsiveness strategy for this service.

In addition to the above, TCS follow effectiveness strategy for TCS Express, E-COM solutions, Retail
services, 24/7, Aviation, International express, Sentiments, follow responsiveness strategy whereas
FLEET solutions, Overland Express, Octara, Intiana Travel and Tour, VISATRONIX (Visa Facilitators) follow
efficient strategy.
