Downloading the Whova App

The Whova app is free and can be found in both the


Apple Store (Mac) and the Google Play Store (Android).

Search for “Whova” and download the app.


Sign-In and Profile
Click “Find Your Event” and Click on the event and then Create a password
search for “ELF Online.” click “Join (Registered attendees and type in your
only).” email. Please use the
same email you used
in your Forum regis-
tration.

Your profile has been


populated with your
name, organization,
and title as provided
in your Forum regis-
tration. If you would
like, there is space
to add a photo, link
to your social media,
and make your email
public to other at-
tendees.

If you would like to edit your


profile, select the icon in the
upper left and then click on
“Edit Profile.”
Home
After you sign in and edit your profile, you will be taken directly to the event home page.
To access Whova’s App Guide, click the “?” icon.

Leaderboard | Score points by exploring the app, adding sessions to your agenda, and shar-
ing photos! You can check your status here.

Photos | Share and view photos here.

Session Q&A | Click here to leave a question for the speaker in a particular session. You can
also access session Q&A’s within each session’s page in the agenda, or as you add sessions
to your calendar.

Prayer | Click here to submit a prayer request, either by name or anonymously. Forum vol-
unteers will pray over requests throughout the week.

Zoom Help | Click here for the Forum’s informational page on Zoom.

Whova Tips | Click here to access a list of helpful resources provided by Whova to answer

Accessing Sessions Through the App
Each session page includes a description, where you can find the summary and Zoom link.
Please note that this link will take you out of the app and open Zoom in a separate window.

Agenda
Sessions are organized by day, and you can search for individual sessions using keywords such
as title, speaker, or track. All sessions are categorized into tracks, each denoted by a different
color. You can filter each day’s session by track.

Each session page includes the full title, Zoom link,


session summary, and additional details.
Personalizing Your Agenda
To add plenary sessions, workshops, and pre- and post-Forum events, open the session and
click “Add to My Agenda.”

Adding Sesssions to Your Personal Calendar App


In addition to managing your agenda in Whova, you can also add it to your personal calendar
app. When adding a session to your Whova agenda, the following message will appear:

At this time, you can post a question for the session.


There are other opportunities to post questions in the
app, so you may also click “Not Now,” or “Don’t ask me
again” if you would not like this message to appear as
you continue to add sessions to your personal calendar.
Attendees
You can click attendees in the list to visit their profiles, or you can search for specific individu-
als. You can send a message, take a note, or request contact information.

Community and Messages


In the Community tab, you can ask questions, connect with other attendees, and share your
experience. Post in an existing topic or create a new one!

If you connect with other attendees, your conversations will appear in the Messages tab.
Accessing the ELF Online App on Your Computer
If you would prefer to add to your agenda, ask questions, and access sessions on your comput-
er rather than on your mobile device, Whova has a desktop version available to attendees.

Please note that you will first need to download the mobile app and set up your account on
your phone before using the desktop feature. If you are unable to download the app to an
Apple or Android mobile device or tablet, please contact the ELF Online staff at
infodesk@euroleadership.org for assistance in setting up your account.

To access the ELF Online app on your computer, follow the link sent to your in your app an-
nouncement email. After signing in, you will be taken to the desktop home page.

Note that you will be able to access most of the features available in the mobile app. You can
submit questions, schedule mentoring and prayer meetings, access session links, and add ses-
sions to your agenda. Please note that the profile feature is not available in the desktop view.
