 Hyperbole from a Greek word meaning "excess," is a figure of speech that uses extreme
exaggeration to make a point or show emphasis.
 A way of speaking or writing that makes someone or something sound much bigger, better,
smaller, worse, more unusual than they are.
C. Lesson  Hyperbole is also the use of such language to express humor or great emotion.
