What is an Interjection?
• Interjections are words that add emphasis to
any sentence, be it in a book, movie or just a
regular conversation.
• Interjections bring strong emotion or
excitement to any utterance.

• What! You ate my potato!
• Please! I don’t want to be a vampire!
• You monster! You made me a vampire!
