- Good morning, dear boys and girls. How are you today? Who can tell me what is the date
today? And what’s the weather like today?
-Do you usually buy souvenirs when you go somewhere? What are these souvenirs?
-What do you think is our today’s topic?
-Today we will discuss some tips which can help us to save animals.
- What should we do to achieve that?
We are going: - to learn new words
- to read the text about how can we save animals in easy way
- to discuss why is it so important to be “green” and save animals.

- Ex 1a p 231. – Listen to the tongue-twister. Follow in the book. What sound is repeated?
- Read it as fast as you can.
- Let’s read more words with this sound, repeat after me.
- Second group will write the words in the correct order to make sentences.

- Ex 3a p 232. There are two words missing in the rules for animal lovers below. Fill in
either always or never. Work in groups. Boys will choose sentences with always, girls
with never.
1) Never buy things like ivory, bone souvenirs, tortoiseshell, feathers or shells.
2) Always buy something that the local people produce without using animals.
3) Never take a piece of coral reef home with you.
4) Never touch coral reefs.
