CLOSING REMARKS DELIVERED

FOR THE SK MANDATORY TRAINING
BY ENGR. MARIELLE MENOR

It is with great distinction today that I am participating in your mandatory training.

This goes to show that I am with you, and you are with me in your endeavors.

I remember, sometime in 2019 – since I AM THE DESIGNATED LOCAL YOUTH

DEVELOPMENT OFFICER, I get involved and spearheaded this same kind of training
and program. Actually, I am surprised we have this kind of activity without me knowing
first-hand about your event while I am asked today to close it of your mandatory
training.

Nevertheless, thank you for making me a part of yours and I can see it in the
future – you will also see yourself a supporter of worthwhile youth programs, projects
and activities.

As I close today your mandatory training, therefore, you are mandated to act as a
dedicated, honest and sincere public servant, thus, before we call the curtain down
today, I would like to point out and stress your preamble which I believe should be your
guiding light in your service to the youths of Marcos, Ilocos Norte.

Above all, you shall implore the aid of the Almighty God, in order to uplift the
general welfare of the youth, assume a role in the national development and
governance as an active, supportive and participating partner of the government.

You should also be participative, active and public-centered in formulating

programs, projects, strategies and other initiatives. Remember that this will ultimately
lead the youth to achieve a truly free, just, democratic, effective, self-reliant, progressive
and most of all, God-abiding citizen and member of the youth sector.

Lastly, put in mind, in heart and soul, that you must become a morally upright
youth sector in the Philippine society, and as do ordained and promulgated by the
Constitution and your By-Law.

This is all for today, but remember, you have a greater and bigger responsibility
that comes tomorrow, the day after, and until the rest of your term as a member of the
Sangguniang Kabataan.

Don’t forget though, the Katipunan ng Kabataan in your respective barangays,

look up to you and demands public service.

Good day and Kudos to everyone.
