The Department of Labor and Employment conducted a program which is

Special Program and Employment of the Students SPES that helps each student to

pursue their dreams through giving them the opportunity to work and enhance their

knowledge and to practice being a professional.

Despite the crisis that we are currently facing, experiencing many problems and

challenges still, have a chance to help our parents through this program. In twenty 20

days working experience my knowledge and skills were enhanced in the office of the

Municipal Treasurer where I had been assigned. During the first day, we attended the

virtual orientation, which the PESO coordinator discussed the do’s and don’ts inside the

premises of Municipality. Althroughout the days I was able to do the following tasks and

functions. Sorting of documentary requirements for liquidation of NCR Plus financial

assistance (ayuda); Unifying the authenticity of Signature in the Payroll; Encoding the

clients information in transfer tax Collections. Every task receiving the documents from

other offices and as well as to answer inquiries through telephone calls. Being part of

the employees we are able to act professionally. Be polite to all the people around us

especially to the clients we served. We also provide assistance to our Municipal Health

office for the online registration of RESBAKUNA clients to each barangays.

My experience as SPES beneficiary is worthy enough not only to support my

financial needs in Education but to have a real experience of being professional in the

future.

I sincerely express my gratitude to our honorable Mayor and to our Municipality

by including this program as part of their endeavor for us students.

May you have more activities that will indulge benefits to the youth and be always

our partner in our Success.
