Honey Bee Tessellation Match
Print, laminate if desired, & cut out the hexagons. Lay out the hexagons
with the numbers (in number form) in the center of them & match each
hexagon that represents that number to form a tessellation.
For example for the hexagon with the number 1 in it, match all hexagons
that symbolize the number 1 (word form, addition & subtraction
sentence, tally marks, & ten frame) & put around the hexagon with the
number 1 in it, to form a tessellation.

Honey Bee Memory Game
Print, laminate if desired, & cut out the cube. Fold along the tabs & sides
& tape to form a cube. Print & laminate the graph sheet if desired, for
multiple uses, using a reusable marker. Use cardstock for more
durability.
Directions: Toss the cube 10, 20, 30, 40, or 50 times. Depending on your
child's age, ability, desire, focus, etc. Color a square, starting at the
bottom of the sheet, when the cube lands on that particular object. See
which honey bee themed object has the most at the end of the tossing
time. This is a great time to discuss greater than/less than, comparing
numbers, & beginning graphing skills.
For fun, assign a color to each object & use that color to graph, to see
the visual difference.
For example:
-sunflower: orange
-bee: black
-honey: brown
-hive: yellow
-tree branch: green
-tessellation: red
