About PSWO
Pakistan Students' Welfare Organization is a registered
Non-Governmental Organization with a self-sacrificing,
gallant and noble cause. The pioneers aspire to help out
the people crushed by the financial hassle. A recent
survey has revealed that more than 50% of Pakistan's
population earns less than 2$ a day which really is a
threatening situation, a person earning 2$ a day can't
meet the expense of his children studying or the
household needs or the basic human needs. This is the
reason why Pakistan has low literacy rate i.e. 60%
The NGO endeavors to lessen the tension among the masses under financial pressure and
having no money to pursue basic human education. PSWO welcomes each and every gallant
and passionate Pakistani to come join hands in hands and serve the nation by adding a little to
it.
Apart from funding for paying tuition fees of students from primary, secondary and university
levels, PSWO organizes career counseling, the assistance with orphanages and old age homes
and provision of basic commodities to needy children. PSWO is expanding its premises in
different educational and social institutions for collaboration and funding programs so as to
entertain more and more deserving students. PSWO has donated more than 4 Million rupees in
the last 5 years.
Organized a trip to the zoo for the disabled children of Voice Shelter
The children at Voice Shelter Home wished to visit the zoo. Voice Shelter Home is run by
disabled people and they could not take the children out for a trip. PSWO sponsored the trip
and made their wish come true.
The organization aims to admit children who are completely orphans or social orphans through
a standard admission policy. Social orphans are the result of the mother being remarried or
having an incurable disease or mental illness and, as a consequence, being unable to provide
for the children.
Cake-Cutting Ceremony: This would be held to celebrate the birthday of a child there. It
would feature cake, party poppers and balloons.
Quiz Competitions: To enhance the children’s general knowledge and to make them more
aware of the world around them, we will arrange a quiz competition that will include prize
distribution in the end.
Sports with teens: To make the event more lively and energetic, we will do some physical
activities with the children. These activities include but are not limited to playing cricket,
badminton, ludo, carrom, scavenger hunt, duck-duck-goose.
Eatables & Drinks: We will arrange adequate eatables and drinks for the children.
