About PSWO
Pakistan Students' Welfare Organization is a registered
Non-Governmental Organization with a self-sacrificing,
gallant and noble cause. The pioneers aspire to help out
the people crushed by the financial hassle. A recent
survey has revealed that more than 50% of Pakistan's
population earns less than 2$ a day which really is a
threatening situation, a person earning 2$ a day can't
meet the expense of his children studying or the
household needs or the basic human needs. This is the
reason why Pakistan has low literacy rate i.e. 60%

The NGO endeavors to lessen the tension among the masses under financial pressure and
having no money to pursue basic human education. PSWO welcomes each and every gallant
and passionate Pakistani to come join hands in hands and serve the nation by adding a little to
it.
Apart from funding for paying tuition fees of students from primary, secondary and university
levels, PSWO organizes career counseling, the assistance with orphanages and old age homes
and provision of basic commodities to needy children. PSWO is expanding its premises in
different educational and social institutions for collaboration and funding programs so as to
entertain more and more deserving students. PSWO has donated more than 4 Million rupees in
the last 5 years.

PSWO Old Age Home Visits

These old people are not ordinary men and women, but rather the real assets of the nation
who have served the noble soil with their sweat and blood. They include past professors,
people from Showbiz, Government Officers and people from all other fields of life. But
unfortunately, time doesn't do justice to everyone.
About SOS Children’s Village
The idea of the SOS Children's Village is an important
milestone in the development of a modern approach towards
the welfare of children. Deprived of their natural parents,
children are placed in an environment which is as close as
possible to a natural home. SOS Children's Villages meet this
need by providing them with loving care, security, higher
education and job-training. This allows them to live normal
lives and a sense of confidence is instilled in them that
develops their full potential.

The organization aims to admit children who are completely orphans or social orphans through
a standard admission policy. Social orphans are the result of the mother being remarried or
having an incurable disease or mental illness and, as a consequence, being unable to provide
for the children.
