For me community is a group of people living in a one place that’s shares same beliefs,
norms, values, and religion.

2. As a student nurse, which type of community do you presently belong and why?

As a student nurse the type of community I presently belong is phenomenological

community. As we know phenomenological community is a functional; activity or belief based
e.g. school, so as a student nurse I simply belong in this type of community because
phenomenological community is a place that emerges people through their awareness of same
experience. As a nurse we should have face to face conversation within our health allied
professions and patients sharing our common interest on how to deal certain problems and
come up with greater idea.

Community is defined as an open social system that is characterized by people in a place

who have common goals over time. The term is applicable to a variety of situations. A
community includes a place and groups or aggregates. An aggregate is any number of
individuals with at least one common characteristic (Williams, 1977). Community is consisting of
people. Its component on a community is colossal. So for me the primary component is the
people. People shares there ideas, beliefs, religions and norms and this will help a community
grow. People is the most fundamental or essential component of community. There may be
small or large but community always refers to a group of people. Because without a group of
people we cannot think of it as a community, when a group of people live together and share a
common life and banded by a strong sense of community consciousness at that moment a
community is formed. Hence the group of people is the prerequisite of a community. We are a
part of a group of people who want to help each other, whether that is socially or professionally.
What makes a community strong is its unanimity towards a common goal. A strong community
can help support your small business by shopping locally and choosing your services over a
chain. A community can help with your home care or lawn care, whether that is providing expert
service for your needs, or simply walking over to a neighbor’s and helping with a project. With a
community of people looking out for your best interests and working together for a common
goal, there is no shortage of opportunities to strive for something that you want. Whether that is
looking for your first job or starting your own business, a strong community can give the support
you need to succeed. . Moreover, people are stakeholders in the community business; therefore
they can implement local solutions to solve the real life problems. When individuals combine
their skill sets, no aim is hard to achieve even if it looks well-nigh impossible initially. That’s my
conclusion why people are the primary component of a community.
