1a.

Nitrogen has less relative molecular mass than chlorine. So,

Nitrogen diffuses faster.

As the temperature increases, the gas particles take up more

energy and moves faster. So, more often they tend to collide with

the wall.
2
Air is more heavier than hydrogen . As hydrogen is lighter than air,

it diffuses faster than air. The pressure inside the pot is greater than

the pressure outside, thus the level of coloured liquid on the right side

will be more.

Air is less dense or lighter than carbon dioxide. Air diffuses faster than

the carbon dioxide. So diffusion out is faster than inside. Also pressure

inside the pot in less than the pressure outside so the level of coloured liquid
on the left side is more.

3.

Particles can move in random motion. Particles collide

from a region of high concentration to lower concentration.
Diffusion will happen at point C. Ethylamine has less relative

molecular mass than hydrobromic acid. So, Ethylamine diffuses

faster than hydrobromic acid.
