CUNARD CRUISE LINE – OPEN CALL FOR SINGERS AND DANCERS
Union/Non-Union
Royal Court Theatre Company Castings is seeking passionate and talented vocalists and
dancers to appear in various productions aboard Cunard's Queen Mary 2, Queen Elizabeth,
and Queen Victoria. 
US Casting: Binder Casting 
Open Call for Singers (Union/Non-Union) will be held Monday, January 20, 2020 at
10am (Females) and 2pm (Males) at Pearl Studios, 500 8th Avenue (btwn 35th and 36th
Sts), 12th Floor, NYC.   
Open Call for Dancers (Union/Non-Union) will be held Tuesday, January 21, 2020 at
10am (Females) and 2pm (Males) at Pearl Studios, 500 8th Avenue (btwn 35th and 36th
Sts), 3rd Floor, NYC.
Callbacks for Singers will be held Wednesday, January 22, 2020.? 
Seeking:? 
FEMALE SINGERS: Any ethnicity. Should read 20's to early 40's. Dynamic mature
performers who can command a stage. Must be versatile across a wide range of genres,
strong in belt & mix with secure harmonizing skills. Belt/Mix to E/F an advantage. Must
move well. Some of the ships include the show TOP HAT for which we are seeking the
following roles: DALE - model, leading lady, very strong tapper, leans vocally
legit. MADGE - comedy/character role, Horace's long suffering wife, not required to tap. 
 
MALE SINGERS: Any ethnicity. Should read 20's to early 40's. Dynamic mature performers
who can command a stage. Must be versatile across a wide range of genres, high-baritones
and tenors required with good falsetto and secure harmonizing skills. Top G essential with
full voice to Top B/C an advantage. Must move well.  Some of the ships include the show
TOP HAT for which we are seeking the following roles: JERRY – suave, leading man, oozes
confidence, very strong tapper.  HORACE – comedy/character role, show producer, British
accent, not required to tap.
MALE AND FEMALE DANCERS: Any ethnicity. Strong, versatile dancers with lean, toned
physiques and great technique who are comfortable performing a wide range of dance styles
from ballet to commercial jazz to tap to theatre. Ballroom/partnering experience a plus. TOP
HAT requires dancers to be strong tappers; however, not all contracts will require tap.
Preparation:
Singers: Prepare 16 bars of a pop/rock or contemporary musical theatre song showing
range and star quality.? Have a contrasting selection ready in case you are asked. Bring
sheet music in correct key; accompanist will be provided. Bring headshot and resume
stapled together. You may be called back to move later the same day; all please bring
dance clothes, dance shoes, and tap shoes (if you tap).
Dancers: A brief dance combination will be taught. Callbacks will be held later in the same
day. Bring form-fitting dance attire that shows your silhouette. All bring flats and tap
shoes.  Women bring character heels, too. Some dancers may be asked to read.
Onboard Pay Rate: $4,299/month for Singers. $2,151/month for Dancers. Travel
provided. 
Rehearsals in Southampton, UK. Worldwide itineraries. Casting will be ongoing throughout
2020.
