Project Summary
Elevator Pitch

Concise Summary: Help us pitch this solution! Provide an explanation within 3-4 short sentences.

The iconfig apps is a collection of three interactive applications that seeks help learners discover their talents, assist them with skill acquisition
and place them in professional mentorship programs. Giving learners financial freedom and making them nation builders.

WHAT IF - Inspiration: Write one sentence that describes a way that your project dares to ask, "WHAT IF?"

What if African Youths can be so self-reliant as to create solutions to pertinent problems in their environment.

About Project

Problem: What problem is this project trying to address?

The iconfig apps will address the problem of talent/passion discovery, youth unemployment, capacity building, education and unstructured
mentorship programs which do not yield results. Furthermore, the apps seek to address graduate unemployment issues. Where better career
opportunities will be learnt and individuals will study courses based on their natural dispositions thereby expanding their minds yo applying what
they are been taught.

Solution: What is the proposed solution? Please be specific!

A collection of three interactive computer based applications be used separately but consecutively is the solution. Each tool seeks to: -
Discover the passions within a learner based on a detailed profile description provided by the learner relative to self-help discovery tools. –
iDISCOVER - Select skill sets that will be learned to develop these passions by providing knowledge, align these skill sets into well-structured
goals that could be measured for productivity and introduce learners to proven capacity building tool to inspire creativity. – iTRANSFORM -

Impact: How does it Work

Example: Walk us through a specific example(s) of how this solution makes a difference; include its primary activities.

Learners after interacting with these apps at different stages within a time frame will be armed with enough mastery to positively affect their
spheres, having learned how to transform their passions into skills and then to full expertise which can be used to solve daily problems. For
example, a first time user (high school student) after opening the iDISCOVER app will be asked for his/her bio data details. After choosing a
specific program type with a time frame, the app will create a talent discovery plan for the user, first by requiring the user to answer specific
questions relating to likes, dislikes, interests etc. The app will then create a talent harnessing program that will help the user learn more about
his/her passion.

Impact: What is the impact of the work to date? Also describe the projected future impact for the coming years.

1
To date, we have been able to run a successful entrepreneurial company based on the principles that have inspired this idea. This idea has also
inspired a seminar tagged “created for this”. This seminar which is to kick-off in March, 2016 will empower 12,500 senior secondary school
students in 5 states across Nigeria by showing them first-hand how to discover their passions. Our goal is to ultimately deploy the iDISCOVER app
to the first batch of users which means about 12,500 users will fully comprehend the idea behind the app. If 5 more states are visited and another
12,500 students are made to use the apps, we will have about 25,000 young persons who can fully grasp what their passions are and have a daily
plan for developing these passions. With 25,000 students able to use the iDISCOVER apps. We will put her up for free download which will
increase her reach.

Spread Strategies: Moving forward, what are the main strategies for scaling impact?

We intend to expand our reach by approaching the Ministry of education and other educational institutions in the country to see if it can be used
nationally. If accepted, the apps can be used in secondary schools through the computer studies program already in place. With more awareness
gotten through outreaches and dessmination strategies, iTRANSFORM amd iACHIEVE can be deployed in our federal and state higher institutions
after they must have been tested for 1year. Lastly the National Youth Service Corp in Nigeria. The ease of accessibility makes it workable. I.e
mobile apps.

Sustainability

Financial Sustainability Plan: What is this solution’s plan to ensure financial sustainability?

The management team intends to deploy these apps using specific mediums, one that will allow for them to be sold collectively or singly to
specific educational institutions. Individuals would also be able to download them for free, but since it will be an all-inclusive internet based
application, it will therefore include all the rates associated with an application of this magnitude.

Marketplace: Who else is addressing the problem outlined here? How does the proposed project differ from these
approaches?

Presently, no firm or resource center is handling an empowerment program of this magnitude. What we have are skill acquisition centers that teach
skills with no educational inclination to inspire learners. For the iconfig apps, our uniqueness stems from the fact that any individual with zero
prospects can grow into one with literarily no limitations. This tool will be all inclusive, convenient to deploy and simple to use.

Team

Founding Story

The iconfig applications is been funded by “CREATIVMEDIA” a creative agency in Abuja. It is an initiative of Akinyele Adeiza Oluwatobi the
founder of CREATIVMEDIA. Though my passion for the arts, creative design and entrepreneurship inspired me learn first-hand how to develop my
talents, transforming them into skills that can make me financially stable. My career decision led me to do something I was not really passionate
about. The result is to have two parallel skill sets that can lead in two different directions. Then the idea then struck me, why can’t we be trained in
the line of our passions, why can’t we explore all the educational possibilities in the line of our inclinations.
