Fixing Suspended Facebook Accounts

1. Description
The goal of this report is to find possible solutions to the problem of temporarily locked
Facebook accounts and disabled accounts. The main difference between locked and disabled
account is that if it is locked we can unlock it answering security questions or doing photo
identification. And when the account is disabled we can’t login and have to provide ID.

2. Possible reasons for disabled Facebook accounts

Facebook suspends accounts that don't follow the Facebook Terms. Some of the reasons are:
- Posting content that doesn't follow the Facebook Terms;
- Using a fake name;
- Impersonating someone;
- Continuing behavior that's not allowed on Facebook by violating the Community
Standards;
- Contacting other people for the purpose of harassment, advertising, promoting, dating or
other conduct that's not allowed.
The main reason is using a fake name.

3. Different ways to verify temporarily locked

accounts
If at some point Facebook’s algorithm flags the account for suspension it can ask for the
following verifications:
- Phone verification;
- Birthday verification;
- Photo verification;
The first two are pretty easy to verify, but Facebook does not use them often.
Most often we are faced with the problem of Photo verification.

4. Facebook Photo Verification

According to our research there are two ways to deal with photo verification.

1) The first one is to change VPN settings to Japan and then login to Facebook. At this
point Facebook will ask for phone or birthday verification instead of photo verification.
More on this in the video.
2) The second way to bypass Photo verification is to use Google images search and
search for “facebook+"name of the 1st friend".
We must see the image of that friend in the first three results. If we didn't identify the
picture, we shall repeat this step. If we can’t identify the friend in the results we can skip it. We
have the option to skip it two times. After we identify the 5 pictures Facebook will provide us the
opportunity to change our password. If photo verification was unsuccessful we can repeat in one
hour.

5. Facebook Disabled Accounts

The Temporary Disabled account will show the following message.
Permanent disable will show this message:

Temporarily disabled accounts are subject to ID verification while permanently disabled

accounts cannot be saved.

6. Conclusion
Phone and birthday verification are straightforward.
