Standing On
the Side of Love
Dan Furmansky, Campaign Manager, Standing on the Side of Love at the Unitarian Universalist
Association of Congregations has asked our congregation to help with the “Standing on the Side of
Love” initiative to last well beyond February 14th.

“Our goal is to have a whole bank of stories of courageous love on this map, as an interactive source
of inspiration.People can scroll across a heart logo on the map and see an overview of the story, then
click to read more. “  

Is there someone you might consider honoring for their courageous love? Someone in your life you
consider an unsung hero? If so, please consider submitting your story. When we promote the
courageous love story bank to our lists of tens of thousands of people, people are apt to scroll over
your story and read it, and be inspired to submit their own.

CAMPUS SIGNAGE
The board recently approved the
design & production of new
signage to make our campus more
welcoming & to point our visitors
and tenants in the right direction.
Plans are for chocolate brown
signs and white lettering in
English, Spanish, Creole, braille,
and picture icons to be installed
on room doors and directional
signs on posts as people enter
from our parking lots. Proofs have
been posted throughout the
campus, along with comments/
suggestions sheets. Please take a
few minutes to check them out.
Please write legibly & include your
name. Tom Edwards will be on site
to answer any questions.
LOTZ CONCERT
Ira Sullivan, brings classical
violinist Glenn Basham to round
out his Jan 30th quartet featuring
Brian Murphy on piano and Jamie
Ousley on bass. Basham is a
member of
the superb Bergonzi Quartet as
well as concert master for the
Naples Philharmonic. Ousley is on
the music faculty of FIU. Murphy
is well known performing in clubs
here and in Chicago. This concert
is dedicated to the memory of
Ruth Kinsman.
