    8.

    0 RECOMMENDATION

    8.1 The recommendation of the drainage system on the site can be seen as:

    i. Local Authority can build and represent a pool reservoirs to avoid the flood and flash
    flood problems in addition to installing trash traps.
    ii. Local Authority should update a water use standards for the consistency with reality
    in computing with drainage systems and design water supply inside the building.
    iii. We have to apply the Malaysian Environmentally Friendly Drainage Manual and
    Development Guidelines to involve river reserves of the development in Seremban.

    9.0 CONCLUSION

    From the analysis of drainage system, this research is to investigate the modelling
    and rainfall data requirement for the drainage systems and how to avoid the impact of
    combined over flows on the receiving waters. Managing storm water at source with more
    emphasis on short term storage and attenuation of discharge into downstream watercourses
    could provide a more sustainable solution to flood mitigation. From the review and
    evaluation of existing legal framework for the control and regulation of activities which
    would have an effect or impact on drainage system.
