Bungor flower is the official flower for Alor Setar City Council. Below is the detailed
information of the flower that scientific name is Lagerstroemia Floribunda and common
name is Bungor Kedah orThai Crape Myrtle. Bungor flower is a species of flowering plant in
the Lythraceae family and native in the tropical region of Southeast Asia especially Kedah
and Perlis. It is attractive flower in purple and turn to white when old and Small size of the
flower forms a bouquet.
