ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

The proponents of the study would like to thank everyone that has been

part of this endeavor from the beginning to the end.

To mentioned them, first, we would like to thank Allah/God for giving us

strength, knowledge and wisdom. We would like also to thank those people

who motivated us in times of our hardship. To our adviser, Mr. ROBYN P.

TOLENTINO thank you for the support and help us unconditionally, to Mr.

RAY T. SALAVADOR, the chairman, thank you for pushing us to continue.

To our Critic Reader, Mr. JOEY E. SERVAN thank you for being there for

guiding and helping us regarding for the development of this paper and for

giving us some knowledge and fresh ideas. To the members of the panel to

Mr. ROMEO ANGELITO C. SANICO, Mr. ELAISA S. BERNALDEZ, Mr.

GILBERT M. FLORES thank you for the moral support.

And lastly, to Mr. RAFFY HAMIS thank you for helping and giving us

big ideas to make this research possible and functional, the one that help us

more and motivate us in times of needs, lifting us higher than we are when

everything feels low and motivated us to be strong rather than to be coward

and feared of criticism and rejections. We really thank you for that and more

importantly to our parents a million of thanks. Your financial, moral and

ABSTRACT

The researchers attempted to construct a developmental study which

is the Automatic Noise Breaker Detector. The proponents aimed to help

teachers to minimized the noise of the students inside a classroom. This

developmental project released a buzzer sound when the noise of the

students hit the limited range set in the program called arduino.

The researchers constructed a device that was useful and convenient.

This study wanted to address the common problem of the teachers which was

the noise inside the classroom. The respondents for this study were randomly

selected high school teachers in Recodo National High School and ZCSPC-

Ayala Extension Classes. This study was also limited to a classroom setting

in which this device has its four major components and these are; Sensor

device, Buzzer, Bulb and the Programmable device. The construction time

frame of the Automatic Noise Breaker Detector consumed a total of one

month, twelve days and eight hours and most of the time was spent in the trial

and revision of the gadget in which it took one month and five days for

uploading the programmable code in Arduino. To evaluate the acceptability of

the gadget, the researchers selected 18 teachers from Recodo National High

School and 8 teachers from ZCSPC-Ayala Extension Classes. As the result

vi

shows it garnered an average mean of 3.98 and falls under the descriptive

rating of “Agree”.

Moreover, the researchers found out that this project was effective and

efficient to become a device that can control the noise inside a classroom.

The proponents would like also to recommend to the next researchers that

whoever may wish to reconstruct and redesign the Automatic Noise Breaker

Detector may follow the design used in the study and also used the proper

documentation of the possibility of patenting the Automatic Noise Breaker

Detector and would also to recommend whoever adopt and innovate this

device may add back-up battery. The device should be exhibited in local and

other regions.
