From simple to practical life, world seems nothing but a different place. Most

people spent their lives within a few miles of their birth place just to give their family

security of life and healthy welfare. They work hard to provide food, to give good

education for their family members, and to build a secure shelter for them, they work

hard to give the best for their love ones. Most of them want a home that has a

sophisticated design.

People working too hard to make their dream come true, and one of that dream is

building their dream house, a house that can accommodate people, a house that can

express their selves, a house that symbolize their hard work, a house that stronger like

they are, a house that last longer. They want to make it sure that every details of their

house worth their sacrifices and hard work.

v
This kinds of floors need to take a very high polish to make it clean and

shimmering, other see and describe this kind of floors as sophisticated and glamor that

evokes the highest sense of elegance. Floors are usually known because of its hard

substance, but it is also prone to scratches suffering from damage due to cracks, ships and

breakage.

Traditionally, people used rough stone to remove the sharp surface or lapping part

of the floor, and in cleaning process they usually use dust mop to remove some of dirt

and dust, on polishing process they usually use coconut mop to maintain the shinnies of

the floors, by this traditional way some people encountered some problems like

maintaining the natural structures of floors, and they can’t avoid scratches on surface and

sometime the cause of the deformation of natural structure of it.

As time goes by, many tools and device have been made to help in every process,

there is the device made for grinding the rough surface, tools for cleaning and tools for

polishing, this made people make their work much easier in a less time. The increasing

use of this tools and devices in advance technological application has resulted in a high

demand for improvements and durability; to innovate these tools and combined it in one

machine.

In response to the grinding and polishing process this machine gives more

advantage over the previous tools and devices. Through the combined features of

mechanical, this machine was designed with the controller as a control for the speed and

pressure, in the grinding process it is designed with the use of different number of sand

paper depending on the desired amount to be remove on the rough portion of the floor,

vi
and for the cleaning or polishing process, pressure then applied on the soft cloth or pad,

on this process it allows the speed and pressure to work in removing the dirt and dust, it

also limits the penetration of individual grains into the surface, it also has a container that

has a break controller, this contain its either a soap or a floor wax for making sure the

cleanliness and glossy of the floor. Polishing with the soft cloth and flexible pad creates a

very gentle rubbing between the grains and the floor, thus ensuring that there is a minimal

chance of scratching it. The main purpose of polishing is to maintain and enhance the

surface texture, and to produce shiny surface.
