INTRODUCTION

❑ Now a days pollution is the biggest problem

❑ To keep our nature safe we need to track the pollution levels in
environment.
❑ To track those pollution levels we design IOT based system.
PROBLEM STATEMENT

❑To make the industrial pollution monitoring a wireless system.

❑To protect the environment from industrial pollution.

❑To inform the public about the air and sound pollution.

❑To know about pollution in user friendly way.

CONT…
❑ The purpose of our system is to monitor the pollution is
industrial area

❑ Sensor can be deployed at various locations.

❑ Pollution data uploaded on webpage over internet

What is IOT?

❑ IOT is short for Internet of Things

❑ The Internet of Things(IOT) is inter-networking of physical

devices. This system has ability to transfer data over a
network without requiring human-to-human or human-to-
computer interaction.
HARDWARE
REQUIREMENTS
❑MQ- 7 Sensor
❑MQ-135 Sensor
❑Soil Moisture Sensor
❑Electret microphone
❑Microcontroller ATMEGA32
❑USB to TTL
❑Raspberry Pi 3 B+
SOFTWARE
REQUIREMENTS
❑PHP (Hypertext Preprocessor)
❑HTML (Hypertext Markup Language)
❑Python
❑CSS (Cascading Style Sheets)

REAL LIFE
PROJECT
ADVANTAGES
1 Sensors are easily available

2 Sensors have long life time & less cost

3 Simple Drive circuit.

4 System is Real time.

5 Visual output.
6
Continuous update of change in percentage of
quality.
LIMITATION

❑Only 4 sensors are used.

❑Sound intensity only 52-48 db.

❑Accurate measure of contaminating gases cannot be

detected in ppm.
APPLICATION
Site selection for
05 reference monitoring
stations.
Roadside pollution
Monitoring .
04
To make this data available
03 to the common man.)

Indoor Air Quality

Industrial Perimeter
01 Monitoring.
FUTURE
SCOPE
❑In future the project can be upgraded in more ways than one.
❑Interface more number of sensors to know detail content of all
gases present in air.
❑ Design Webpage and upload data on webpage with date and
time. Interface SD Card to store data.
❑Interface GPS module to monitor the pollution at exact
location and upload on the webpage for the netizens.
CONCLUSIO
N
❑ We are using some sensors, which can detect air pressure,
temperature, Ultra Violet radiation, Air quality, Smoke,
Nitrogen Dioxide in air and Carbon Monoxide in air, noise
level etc…

❑ The sensors will sent the collected data to the cloud.

Analyzing the data, a report will be generated.

❑ Based on that report, the action will be taken against

pollution.
