JIGSAW
1. Divide the class in groups with 6 members each.
2. Assign number to each member from 1 to 6.
3. Each group member is assigned a part of a letter to learn and then to teach to
his/her group members, this is what we call the HOME Group.
4. To help in the learning students across the class working on the same sub-section
get together to decide what is important and how to teach it, this is the EXPERT
Group.
5. After practice in these "expert" groups the original groups reform and students
teach each other.
6. After the activity, the home group will be given 15 minutes to write correctly and
clearly letters to obtain business permit to barangay officials.

THREE-STAY, ONE-STRAY
1. Divide the class in small groups with 4 members each.
2. Group members will discuss among themselves. All team members must be
capable of giving the team’s report.
3. The group will designate the student from each team who will “stray”.
4. The designated students (stay) will share the original group’s discussion with the
new team.
