Bubbles Experiment
Directions:
1. Add a few little liquid soap to your glass of water.
2. Use the straw to GENTLY stir the soap into the water.
3. Place the straw just below the surface of the water-soap mixture.
4. Remove the straw, then gently blow through the end that was NOT in the water-soap
mixture.
5. Try to get bubbles to attach to a surface (table, plate, etc) for at least 5 seconds.

Observations
Before:
The soap has a cloudier apearance
The water is completely transparent
During:
The soap seemed to desolve as it made contact with the water
As I stired the solution, I notice that the top of the liquid had begun to foam.
After:
As I blew air from one side of the straw, bubbles flew out the other end.
The buubles could only maintain their form on wet surfaces.
Pure Substance or Mixture Lab
Objective: To find out if black is Materials: Washable black

The black marker will be a combination of multiple colors, and the
water will separate the ink into different ones. It was supported.
3. Discuss one way chromatography is used in the “real world.”
Chromatography can be used to separate compounds to be organized and
studied. After it is studied, you understand better what it is made up of.
It is a great way of observing mixtures and solvents.
