The interrelation of Teaching, Assessment and Literature explains and look

for the ways on how teachers keep track and make their students learn literately and
develop, if teaching is effective to measure the learning or knowledge acquired by their
students. Forming an effective way of learning to measure the academic readiness,
learning progress, skill acquisition, or the educational needs. As Literature used as the
language input or the platform to perform teaching and learning to be tested and assert
the areas needed for teaching and for assessment. The graphic organizer above shows
that assessment should always comes first to allow students demonstrate their
understandings and skills as they perform a certain activity to know the quality of their
ability to perform specific tasks and the products they create in the process. This is
simply how to manage the way of teaching that will occur and make plans before using
the main course of the subject because we all know that everyone has a different level
of understanding and learning.

ACTIVITY #02

In essay form, why do you think teaching should begin with assessment? What
is the function/s of assessment in the teaching-learning experience? What help will it do
with the teaching-learning objectives?

In teaching we need to begin first with assessment, for us to give and use any
method to find our students' strengths and figure out which areas we need to target
for early intervention. It is the assessment who enhances teaching to find out what
young learners are able to do, and help them progress, so that teaching and learning
experience will be more effective. Basically the right approach regardless of the age or
assuming that we are teaching children is what we need to get the attention and their
interest before we start with any class interaction. Discovering the students
understanding for a particular subject demonstrates their learning process. It lets us
know whether the goals or standards of the lessons are being met.
It functions as the basis of all action to be taken before deciding in any
measure. Assessment affects decisions about grades, placement, advancement,
instructional needs and curriculum. By doing assessment it inspires us to ask these
hard questions: "Are we teaching what we think we are teaching?" "Are students
learning what they are supposed to be learning?" "Is there any other way to teach the
subject better, such as promoting better learning?" Teachers need to take an active role
in making decisions about the purpose of assessment and the content that is being
assessed.
Teaching to learning objective makes it easier when you know how to deal with
it. “The learners and learning”, “the teacher and teaching”, and “the learning experience
and environment”. Just assessments helps students, assessment helps teachers.
