Questions for Reflections/Insights

1. What does in mean by Teaching as a Profession?

Teaching is the process of exposing a pupil to new content and
teaching the student how to interpret the material's principles. Teaching is a
difficult profession. Teachers are continually attempting to come up with new
methods or techniques to help students properly comprehend the curriculum
that is being presented to them. Different forms of course materials are easily
accessible for students in order for an instructor to be a successful teacher.

2. What does in mean by Teaching as a Mission?

Profession as a mission is to promote academic development in
students by instilling a love of learning in them as they seek honesty,
goodness, and elegance in the classroom. Students who complete the mission
will become independent and critical thinkers. Following in the footsteps of
teachers who have had a positive effect on the students' lives will serve as a
catalyst for their academic and character growth. The mission is focused on
teaching and thought. However, it is not simply teaching students the material
that is important; it is assisting students in thinking critically about the content
that is most impactful. Faculty members are engaged in and enthusiastic about
their subject matter.
3. What does in mean by Teaching as a Vocation?
Many people think of teaching as a career, and some think of it as a
calling. Both terms are interchangeable, but I believe there are two standards
that distinguish teaching as a profession. We consider teaching to be a
vocation because of the commitment required to create a high-quality learning
environment for students. An instructor spends the most of his or her time
studying both inside and outside the classroom. And if he or she goes home,
teaching is still on his or her mind because of the need to plan for the events
that will take place in the coming days, unlike most occupations where the
activities take place inside the four walls of their offices or workplaces.
