Activity 1

Name: Aragin G. Saragoza

BEED 1
1. Evaluate yourself. What are your personal interests, needs and wants in life? How such
aspects differ from one another?
To begin assessing my life’s purpose, it’s important to assess what I love to do and what needs to
change to live a more purposeful life. And I love doing coocking and baking.
Having intersts outside in school allows me to explore my passions and become a more well-
rounded person. I want to travel, such as hiking or other exercise, We need in life to survive
while the wants are just our desire.
2. How do you identify your personal strengths and potentials? In which aspects or events in
your life did you witness or exhibit such personal traits and capabilities?
When I was 14, I discovered a strength I didn’t know I had. My older brother had purchased a
home gym, but there was one problem neatly expressed in three words
After a few hours of working together with very little to show for it, my brother huffed off,
cursing under his breath and leaving me alone with the sheet of assembly instructions. Little by
little, I worked through each step until later that night, the gym stood ready for action.
That day I learned that I had an ability that my brother didn’t have at the time, and it meant I had
something of value to offer.

3. What moments in your life did you feel the inferiority and insecurities because of your
perception that you have weak points? How did you consider and face these personal
challenges?
I feel anxious a lot of the time. Being so young and virtually growing up with social media every
time I scroll, I compare, I scroll, I compare. Insecurity, measuring my self up to tge girl next, and
not feeling good enough is a cycle I go through every single day.

I feel as if I can never be good enough. When I see others I know it’s not supposed to compare
myself but I think I’m ugly and stupid. I am not as good as others, but I don’t really know why
that is.
I’m just worried if I’m good-looking enough, I worried that I’m not doing all that we should be, I
worry that I’ll fail, I worry that I too fat, worry that I’m not good enough.

And social media, with its culture of getting us to want approval with likes and retweets, with its
showing off amazing bodies and amazing travels and food it only exacerbates the problem. But
you know all this.

For me to face those personal challenges to start with a willingness to face what we usually don’t
want to face.
That means a bit of courage. Just in small doses, to start with, but it means a willingness to set
aside all the distractions for a little bit, and just focus on what you’re struggling with.
When I get hurt, I remind myself that people are not inheritely bad, they just go through bad
times. I keep myself surrounded by good people that help me succed and I try to find ways to
practice self-love more than picking apart everything wrong with me.

4. What were the most memorable moments where you felt that you have emotional turning
points?
Young girls are now growing u, feeling enough has been a familiar place for me since I was little.
Backing it all the way up to tge beginning I notices my first emotuon of insecure to arround the
age of 8 to 9. I remember during my elementary days I never felt out of place I never compared
myself tgo the other girls. Until I saw out graduation photo. I stuck out lime sore thumb. I was the
smaller than all the other girls and not looking good, they made a ridiculous laugh of my photo
because of my hairstyle. I didn’t know what it was at that time, but this was my first feeling of
‘hey, I’m k ind of a loser.’

5. What is your interest skill? Do you consider this one as your innate gift or talent or not?
I have fun doing lime cooking, hiking, exercise and to have a business. Yes, because God has a
plan to use your unique abilities. We all have special gifts, talents, and abilities given to us by our
heavenly Father. When we were born, we brought these gifts, talents and abilities with us.

6. When can you consider that your particularly accepted skills, gifts, or talents are God-given
(Charism)?
We all have special gifts, talents, and abilities given to us by our Heavenly Father. When we were
born, we brought these gifts, talents, and abilities with us
Every talent takes effort and work to develop. The Lord Will Bless Us If We Use Our Talents
Wisely.
There were people living with disabilities most of them cant experience what we’ve been
experiencing so be thankful on what you have.
Some of the blessings we gain are joy and love from serving our brothers and sisters here on
earth. We also learn self-control. All these things are necessary if we are going to be worthy to
live with our Heavenly Father again.
