DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

MANAGER

A travel agency manager plans, organizes, directs and controls the operations of
travel-related organizations. They also co-ordinate and direct the activities of staff,
overseeing not only the day-to-day tasks, but the hiring, training and evaluating of staff
members as well. Agency managers may also research new products and destinations,
often by traveling to them and experiencing first-hand the services available.

SECRETARY

The secretary's duties typically include making travel arrangements for her boss
and/or other employees. Since secretaries are usually responsible for keeping the
schedule for busy executives, they also take care of their travel plans and ensure the
arrangements are taken care of, including hotel reservations and car rentals.

ADMINISTRATION

BOOKKEEPER

The main duties and responsibilities of bookkeepers oversee a company’s


financial data and compliance by maintaining accurate books on accounts payable and
receivable, payroll, and daily financial entries and reconciliations. They perform daily
accounting tasks such as monthly financial reporting, general ledger entries, and record
payments and adjustments. Additionally, many bookkeepers also assist with basic HR
duties like new hire documents, compliance, and temporary disability insurance and
workers’ compensation filings, making them an indispensable part of an organization’s
fiscal fitness.

CASHIER

The main duties and responsibilities of cashier's primary role is to assist


customers in the in-store check-out process. Main duties include ringing up sales,
bagging items, requesting price checks, honoring coupons, collecting payment and
giving appropriate change. Responsible for counting the contents of cash register
drawer at the end of each shift, maintaining receipts, records and withdrawals.
Welcoming customers, answering their questions, helping them locate items, and
providing advice or recommendations.
UTILITY PERSONNEL

 Run general errands, such as but not limited to, bills payment, bank transactions,
pick up and/or deliver packages or documents
 Perform collection activities in coordination with Finance
 Ensure proper documentation of activities by providing official receipts and other
documents required for liquidation
 Keep accurate logs and complete paperwork for tasks or activities
 Ensure proper office housekeeping
 Perform general office or clerical work such as filing of documents, operating
office equipment, etc
 Purchase office supplies and groceries
 Assist and support the Office Manager
 Other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned by the immediate
supervisor

SALES

ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE

The main duties and responsibilities of Account Executives work in many fields
and help grow their companies by finding leads, closing sales, supporting existing
clients, formulating sales strategies, and communicating product value to clients. They
may also be known as Account Handlers.

OPERATIONS

TRAVEL COUNSELLOR

The main duties and responsibilities of Travel Counselors are experienced Travel
Agents who help clients book flights and choose holiday destinations. Travel
Counselors typically handle accommodation and transportation requirements, and may
also provide advice regarding visas, immunizations, and travel safety.

RESERVATIONS AND TICKETING

The main duties and responsibilities of Reservation and ticket agents are
employed by airlines, bus companies, railroads, and cruise lines to help customers in
several ways. Reservation agents make and confirm travel arrangements for
passengers by using computers and manuals to determine timetables, taxes, and other
information. Ticket agents sell tickets in terminals or in separate offices. Like reservation
agents, they also use computers and manuals containing scheduling, boarding, and rate
information to plan routes and calculate ticket costs. They determine whether seating is
available, answer customer inquiries, check baggage, and direct passengers to proper
places for boarding.

LIAISON OFFICER

The main duties and responsibilities of a liaison officer is in charge of working


with different people, organizations or agencies to help them accomplish a common
goal. To do this, the liaison officer must oversee communications, and coordinate efforts
between these different entities as well as the general public. Liaison officers can work
in both the private and public sectors, but most are employed by public safety agencies.
