another lesson which we will deliver to you on

air. This is Teacher Mars Tugahan and you are

Teacher Mars Tugahan This morning I am going to share to you about

Holistic Health and its five dimensions

which are the Physical Health, Mental

Health, Emotional Health, Social Health and

Moral – Spiritual Health and I want you to

listen very carefully and try to understand the

differences of each Health Dimensions and the

activities that would keep each of the

dimensions healthy.

I know you are now all ready to listen, so let us

begin.

once again. How are you today? What are the

feelings that you felt during this pandemic?

What are the activities that you usually do

today at your home since the start of the

lockdown due to COVID19 Pandemic? Do

these activities/hobbies of yours have an effect

in your Health Dimensions? Do you think you

are Holistically Healthy?

We always say that “Health is Wealth”, but

do we really care for our health holistically?

Health as defined is a state of being free

from illness or injury. But being free from such

does not mean that a person is already healthy.

Health is the one’s keeping us getting our body

working properly in addition to our daily needs.

Many of us are getting weaker due to some

unhealthy habits that we are doing in these

coming year we experience difficulty at some

point of time.

Some of people are participating in the

healthy diet and exercise but there is

something we need to understand we

undergone some exercises to improve our

health, one thing is to understand the Holistic

Health purpose and some dimension that

connected to it to properly to do better in our

healthy life style.

Holistic health function is the harmony and

balance of all 5 dimensions that is the physical,

mental, emotional, social and spiritual in the

human being to attain. Were this is related in

the basis of healthy way of having the good

habit.

The Five Dimension of Holistic Health are:

1. Physical health-refers to how well your


body functions.

2. Mental or intellectual health- refers to


the cognitive ability

3. Emotional health- refers to how you


think/react to a certain thing or situation

4. Social health- refers to how you get


along or interact with others

5. Moral - Spiritual health – refers to your


faith, values and beliefs.

3. Having some leisure time to relax your

mind

Emotional Health

1. Practice forgiveness not anger

2. Dealing emotional stress in a positive

way

3. Enter some fun activities to relieve some

stress

4. Commit to some therapy that will help

improve your emotions

1. Enter some volunteer work and charity

activities in a community

2. Participate in sporting events
