Pride-Building at Aramark

1. Threads is a high-end clothing company and the target market is the upper class.
Therefore the behavior my subordinates should have must be high end as well. They must
be efficient and creative as they work for the fashion industry. Be precise with every
measure and detail needed. Be aware of the trends and soon to be trends. Walk the talk,
be a fashionista, and model themselves. We represent the company if the customers saw
like our tastes in and how we dress it would attract them in buying from us. It is an
advertisement our company should perfect. My employees should be the start of my
products, because if they do not like it then something is wrong. They must be courteous
and patient in dealing with the orders of our customers. Have an uplifted spirit to create a
pleasant atmosphere.

2. As a manager of a high-end fashion company, these are my goals for my staff.

a. Since we are at the start of our journey, increase our blogs, vlogs, and other forms of
posting on social media. Social media is a powerful platform that we must take
advantage of. This is to easily raise awareness and attract customers.
b. Portray a good attitude and behavior towards our customers and co-workers as well.
This is one of the keys to the smooth-running business.
c. Increase productivity so that they would be able to achieve their quota on a week or
monthly basis.
d. Innovate from time to time.
e. Customer satisfaction

3. The system that I will use is the expectancy theory of motivation. This is to boost the
motivation of my staff, that if they are expecting a reward they will exert more effort
which will to quality performance. They would have the benefit of a 30% discount to any
thread products, health benefit, grab/taxi allowance for 1,000 pesos per month, and
consistent training and seminar regarding the fashion industry. And to further motivate
them, the employee of the year will receive gift cash worth 3,000 that can be used in
threads. Those who are punctual and always present will be given a day-off with pay.
Promotion and salary increase would be given to those excelling in their jobs. Providing
this for my staff will increase their effort because they are expecting a reward if they did
their performance well. This would be discussed to them so that it would be clear to
clarify that those who will receive rewards are to those who earned it.

5. The challenges that I look out for are first the competitors. Since I am at the starting point
it is not easy to compete with the rival companies. To overcome this being new in the
market will give me leverage to produce what else was not produce to give a fresh sense
of fashion to our customers. The next challenge that I may face is the conflict within the
organization. This is a general problem for all managers. Conflict can destroy the
reputation of the company so, therefore, I must overcome by talking to them to try to
meet in the middle ground, and if it does not work turn over the one causing the problem.
