    Dear Mayor,

    Good day Sir!

    My name is Arlene A. Aspe, a first-year student of Universidad de Sta. Isabel, currently taking bachelor
    of science in nursing. I am writing this letter to apply for the scholarship or financial assistance that you
    are offering, being a part of this scholarship program would be a big help in our family’s financial
    situation and in the pursuit of my dreams in becoming a registered nurse.

    Along with this letter is the copy of my academic grades, being in the medical course is really hard but
    rest assured that I’ll do my best and be responsible. I hope you consider me for your scholarship program
    and help me fulfill my dreams as a qualified nurse. Your approval will surely be a great help and a noble
    blessing indeed.
