My name is Laura Bayona. I’m 23 years old. I work as an operational health
administrator at Global Service. This’s a company dedicated to the maintenance of
facades. I have to take care of the safety of the employees in the heights. I have to
ensure their wellness.
Fortunately, after the first months of the pandemic, I applied for this job and I’m
learning to become an excellent professional.
Thanks to my job, I have a good financial situation. This helps me to give my family a
wellness, so I can think of buying school supplies for my little son, I can budget for the
purchase of Christmas gifts too. Christmas is very important for my family, because we
get together to celebrate. However, this Christmas will be very different, we probably
can’t meet.
I’m very happy because, two semesters ago, I was able to resume my studies.
Unfortunately I had to leave them for personal reasons. I came back with some
forgotten knowledge, but I already feel more prepared. I feel lucky for my distance
classes and also for the excellent teachers that I have had.
I don’t really have dreams, I have goals. I want to graduate soon, I would like to do a
postgraduate, because thanks to that I could get a promotion in my job. I want to
become an excellent professional in my field. I’d like to create a company, I want my
family to support me all the time, and they should correct me if i'm wrong.
I’m a woman with few friends, there’re few people that I can call as friends, because
those people have been in my bad times, I love them as if they were my family, so I
want them always with me, I don’t want them to get away from me.
Finally, I can say I love my life. Now, I’m listening music with my son, he’s dancing
and my mom is cooking for us. I’m building my own house. This is my lovely life.
