Name of Work: Construction of steel structure non-residential buildings using pre-

engineered construction technology including development of area and all services

complete in all respect including maintenance for five years on EPC basis at KG Marg (near
Asia House) and Africa Avenue (near Sarojini Nagar depot), New Delhi.

The agency has submitted two structural designs of 10m high barricading wall of corrugated
colour coated sheet. These options have been submitted to allow for change in design as
per the local surrounding conditions.

The first option is a typical 1.3m square pad footing below each leg having thickness
200mm and depth of 2m. The columns arising from the pad has 200mm square section. The
anchor bolts embedding 450mm into column supports 12mm thick base plate over which
the steel members shall be welded using 4 no. 6mm thick wedge plates.

The second option comprises of eccentric/toe pad footing at the heel and normal footing at
the toe. The thickness of eccentric footing is 350mm. All other dimensions are same as in
the first option.

The design submitted by the agency has been approved as “Good for Construction” by the
structural design consultant engaged by the agency and approved by the competent
authority.
