Setup Instructions

1. Turn on the amps – the amps are located in the Golden Circle room in the
closet. In the closet there is a “tower” where there is a simple switch
indicated here by picture A. Once a green light has turned on you are good to
go upstairs!
2. Once the amps are on go up to the balcony and turn on the entire sound
system on the white switch located near the ground to the right of the sound
system.
3. Turn on the Streaming Laptop
4. On the streaming laptop ensure that the TASCAM options box pops up!
5. Once the TASCAM options pops up you are safe to open up OBS
6. Once you open OBS test the sound with whoever is running the soundboard.
If the sound is working you will see a green bar moving on the center of the
OBS screen.
7. If the sound isn’t working on the right side of the OBS screen click where it
says ‘settings’. Once the settings window has opened, click Audio – under
audio there will be a portion that says ‘desktop audio’ which should be the
FIRST drop-down box. Ensure that this box has TASCAM 2x2 – 4x4 in it.
Then, click apply. The sound should then work.
8. Ensure that you test the pulpit mic, the wireless microphone, the baptismal
mic, and the Audio Laptop’s sound. The channels will be labeled as to which
microphone is which. The Audio Laptop belongs to channel 8.
9. Once we are 15 minutes away from when the service has started, go to
Facebook using Google Chrome
10. Click where it says “First Presbyterian Church, Marietta Ohio” on the left side
of the page.
11. Once on the First Presbyterian Church, Marietta Ohio page on the RIGHT side
of the screen click where it says “live” under where you would update your
status.
12. On the live page you will find something that says “Stream Key” Copy this
key.
13. Go back to OBS, click the same settings box as before.
14. In the settings box go to where it says “streaming” and where the blocked out
text that looks like this: •••••••••••••••••••••••• is delete that text.
15. Once that text is deleted, paste the Stream Key that you took from the
Facebook site and hit apply.
16. Back on the main OBS page, hit “start streaming”
17. Go back to Facebook and on the lefthand side of the screen there should be a
button that says “Start Stream”.
18. Once the service is over, hit stop stream on OBS and close out of Google
Chrome. Shut down the Streaming Laptop.
19. Go back downstairs and turn the amps off in the Golden Circle Room.
20. Then go back upstairs and turn off the switch to the right of the sound
system.
21. You’re done! Have a good day!
