I. Objectives
At the end of the lesson, students are expected to do the following objectives:
a. give the meaning of adjective;
b. identify the adjective in the sentence;
c. compose a sentence using adjective; and
d. appreciate the importance of adjective.

Instructional Materials: Cartolina that contains texts for visual aid.

III. Preliminary Activities

A. Prayer – the teacher asks one pupil to lead the prayer.


B. Greetings – the teacher greet the students.
C. Checking of Attendance – the teacher checks the attendance of the students.
D. Motivation
The teacher asks the students to describe the pictures.

IV. Lesson Procedure

a. Lesson Presentation
The teacher asks the student to define adjectives.
b. Lesson Development
The teacher read a story and asks the students to give the adjectives found in the story.
c. Application
The teacher asks the students to construct 3 sentences that contain adjectives.
d. Generalization
 An adjective is a word that modifies a noun (or pronoun) to make it more
specific.
e. Evaluation
The teacher asks the students to give the importance of using adjective in a
form of essay.

V. Assignment
In a ½ sheet of paper, write a sentence using these following abstract nouns. It
will be submitted on Sept. 26, 2018.
