Re: Petition on the August 25, 2020 Video uploaded by

KABGEM Employees MERRIAM CASUMPANG and

To the Chairman and Members of Board of KABGEM:

In behalf of the majority of the members of KABGEM, we would like to register

our DISGUST and LACK OF CONFIDENCE on the management of KABGEM as
demonstrated by the General Manager, MERRIAM CASUMPANG and Supervisor,
EDELYN C. PADILLA.

A video which Mrs. Casumpang dubbed as a promotional advertisement for

KGAZZ has gone viral and caused disrepute to our beloved Philippine Flag, Hall of
Justice and Kabankalan City Hall. The subject video was uploaded last August 25, 2020
by Mrs. Merriam Casumpang herself on her Facebook Profile, showing her and her
companion’s unacceptable dance moves in these respected institutions.

Mrs. Casumpang and Mrs. Padilla’s acts promote nothing but indecency,
disregard and total disrespect to the said institutions. Despite the intentions and
justifications of Mrs. Casumpang, the subject video have elicited nothing but derision,
repulsion and loss of trust from the members of KABGEM.

Furthermore, aside from causing dishonor and embarrassment to KABGEM,

Mrs. Casumpang and Mrs. Padilla have also desecrated the Philippine Flag and are
likewise liable for the violation of Republic Act No. 8491 otherwise known as the Flag
and Heraldic Code of the Philippines.

Worse, they have felt no remorse nor guilt over their actions. Such criminal,
extremely self-centered, cavalier attitude and exaggerated sense of self-importance have
no place in a Cooperative representing the Government Employees of Kabankalan City.

1
Their actions do not inspire trust in safekeeping and managing our investments.
How can we as shareholders trust our hard-earned money to KABGEM when the
General Manager’s first instinct is to use the KABGEM funds is to hire a videographer
and shoot a distasteful video depicting themselves in a self-promoting and delusional
manner?

To demonstrate our dissatisfaction and loss of trust on the said employees of

KABGEM, We submit the attached Petition together with Seven Hundred Eighty Six
(786) signatures of members of the Cooperative calling for accountability on Mrs.
Casumpang and Mrs. Padilla’s nauseating actions.

We impress upon you that turning a blind-eye to this immorality and

criminality would result into SERIOUS FINANCIAL LOSSES for the Cooperative or
more so MASSIVE WITHDRAWAL OF CAPITAL SHARES.

We trust that you will find all documents attached hereto in proper order, and
we demand that after the conduct of the preliminary investigation, that MERRIAM
CASUMPANG and EDELYN PADILLA be found liable for their accountabilities as
may be found by the Members of the Board.

Please know that we are available and ready for any clarification that may be
found necessary in pursuing justice on this matter.

Mrs. Agripina I. Seron
