Virgin Pulse: Virgin Pulse is a wellness platform that is focused on your
overall health and well-being. Virgin Pulse is about more than just your
physical health. Emotional, financial, social and community connections
are important too! In addition to completing activities that can help you
live a healthier life, you can redeem your Be Healthy rewards in the form of
electronic gift cards for nationwide retailers and restaurants. $
Wellness Credit Screening: From January 1 through September 30,
2020, earn up to $520 in wellness credits in 2021 for meeting the
LDL cholesterol, blood pressure, fasting blood sugar and abdominal
circumference numbers. If you don’t meet the numbers, you can be
rescreened or complete a Virgin Pulse Journey for each number that was
missed. Recommendations from your physician will be accommodated. $
Annual Wellness Exam: Get your annual preventive/wellness exam. You do
not need to submit anything—just schedule the appointment with a doctor
covered on your medical plan option as your annual preventive/wellness
exam. $
Cancer Screenings: Colonoscopy for men and women ages 50 and up;
mammogram for women ages 40 and up. $
Health Team:2 If you are living with a complex or chronic health condition,
receive support from a nurse. Your Holistic Care Team through Texas
Health Aetna or Total Health Nurses through UnitedHealthcare will get
to know you and develop an action plan to help you coordinate care and
resources.
Diabetes Care: Employees and eligible family members meet with a Texas
Health Diabetes Educator quarterly to receive free test strips. A glucometer is
available through Caremark at no cost with a prescription from your doctor.
Healthy Pregnancy:1 Receive helpful educational materials and 24/7 phone
support during your pregnancy. Enroll by the 16th week of your pregnancy
and actively participate through six weeks after your baby is born. $
Medical Nutrition Therapy: With your doctor’s referral, meet with a Texas
Health registered dietitian to help you develop a healthy eating plan that
meets your specific needs. Plan members with a BMI over 28 are eligible
for one initial 90-minute session and up to three 30-minute sessions per
year at no cost.
Real Appeal®:3 A UnitedHealthcare weight-management program that
includes online weekly coaching and tools including workout DVDs, a food
scale and more. For employees and family members 18 or older, with a BMI of
23 or higher.

Fitness Centers: Receive affordable rates at specific local fitness centers through
Texas Health Fitness Centers or http://texashealth.savings.beneplace.com/. For

For All Employees
Quit For Life®: Get free counseling and up to eight weeks of nicotine
replacement therapy, a Bupropion prescription at no cost and personalized quit
guides. If your quit coach recommends it, you can get Chantix at no cost to
you. You and your eligible family members over the age of 18 can participate.
If you are not enrolled in the Total Heath medical plan, you may be responsible for
additional costs.
Employee Assistance Program (EAP): Your EAP can help you manage
relationship issues, depression, stress, grief, anger, addiction issues and more
by providing you with someone to talk to. It’s free, confidential and available
to you and your eligible family members 24/7.
