3. INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

3.1. INSTALLATION OF CABLE TRAY.

3.1.1. PREPARATION WORK

Generally preparation works are consist :


a) Prepare Shop Drawing
b) Prepare Tools & Consumables
c) Prepare Materials

3.1.2. INSTALLATION

This installation of Cable Tray works are consist :


a) Install Support.
Installation of Support Shall be on the Gallery, which measure and distance shall be
refer to Construction drawing. Marking and measuring work will be do it before
installation. Type installation are expose type

b) Install Cable Tray / Conduit Pipe.


Cable tray / conduit pipe shall be install inside support or Gallery and stage work
all of route installation must conform with shop drawing. Type installation are
embedded type.

The Installation of support cable tray must be Fixed & strong. The material of Support
tray & cable tray should be covered with Galvanized.

4. SAFETY REQUIREMENT

4.1. Personal Safety equipment :


a. Heavy Duty Safety Helmet.
b. Safety Jacket, Shoes. Goggles, Gloves.
c. Nose Mask.

4.2. Emergency arrangement :


a. Emergency contact no. will be displayed at a prominent location and on the back of workmen
ID card. Emergency assembly points will be demarcated at prominent locations.
b. Daily TBT will be conducted for establishing emergency preparedness and safe execution in
case of emergency.
c. Fire precaution’s Established fire points will be used in case of need, all the fire potential shall
be removed, Including the ignition service.
4.3. Ensure that all safety requirements have been adequately disseminated to the workers by the
construction team prior to the start of the work.
4.4. Check, verify and ensure that the work is carried out in compliance with the project HSE plan.
4.5. Monitor the work area for any unsafe conditions that may arise and take corrective action by
construction team to ensure a safe working environment.
4.6. Check and verify the tools/tackle/scaffold/vehicle and equipment used at the site are authorised.
4.7. Ensures materials safety data sheets that are available at site fully adhere to environmental norms.
4.8. Motivate work environment to achieve zero accidents.
4.9. Ensure to check and verify housekeeping for a spick and span work environment.
4.10. Participate weekly HSE walkthrough and review meeting along with Client and Owner.
4.11. Ensure and verify all environmental upkeep activities viz. authorised garbage collection and
disposal, reduce and control air pollution at work location, authorised scrap collection and
disposal.

5. QUALITY CONTROL

5.1. Obtain approvals for MIR, WIR, Job cards, Daily Inspection Process, NCR, corrective and preventive actions.
5.2. To brief the Method statement to the entire construction team and record the same.
5.3. Participate walk through weekly along with Client and Owner.
5.4. To Maintain Calibration log for all MME.
5.5. Controls the inspections and tests related to this work.
5.6. Quality control Engineer shall be responsible for the sign on the checklists and verifying documents.
5.7. Ensure quality of workmanship, inspect the work and prepare snag lists, closure of snags and NCR if any.
5.8. To ensure that the job is executed in accordance with the method statement.
5.9. Identify and report to the PM and QA/QC Coordinator for any non-conformance reports.
5.10. check that timely appropriate corrective and preventive action on NCR is provided by the execution department.
5.11. To carry out the inspection during installation with superintendent’s. Review and record all documents, test
report and checklist.
5.12. Prepare and present all progress reports to project control.

6. HOUSE KEEPING.

Housekeeping shall be of good standard and all cut pieces of wire and cable tie shall be removed and
store in the scrap yard.
➢ The workplace should be cleaned at the end of the day.
➢ No food items in the store.
➢ Site safety sign and rules shall be strictly followed
