I. Sources of Materials
RePorma made an innovation of physical products which requires
sourcing of materials. Materials that are chosen and utilized affect the overall
quality of the product offered by the clothing brand. The level of quality and price
point RePorma is going for with its product is much sensitive than those of
clothing brands that offers a uniformed sizes and styles of garbs. RePorma’s
target is to make a better-quality product. Those materials which came from
different surplus or ukay-ukay suppliers undergo processes with various tools,
materials, machines, and personnels to secure costumer satisfaction. The
following are the RePorma’s potential sources of materials:

1. Ukay-Ukay Suppliers
Ukay-ukay suppliers, like Direct Ukay-Ukay
Wholesalers/Suppliers/Traders PH which is a wholesale and supply store
located at Las Piñas, are one of the best choices of suppliers. Since one of our
product’s main target is to lessen the pollution caused by fast fashions, it is best
to start from innovating and reusing clothes that can be possibly repaired and
turn into more amazing styles and quality garbs.

2. Overruns Suppliers
Overruns or clothing products that are rejected or supplied from different
well-known suppliers can be one of the alternatives of Ukay-ukay suppliers. They
are the best choice among a pool of suppliers in market since they are one of the

3. Sewing Tools, Materials, and Equipment Suppliers


Sewing Equipments can be supplied by Tanlimco Brothers Incorporated,

and can provide the expert’s equipment needed for the clothing brand. There are
wide selection of materials, supplies, and tools for sewing and knitting prjects,
from cloth cutting machine, sewing machine, parts, accessories, etc. Thread and
other sewing materials can also be supplied by Filipinas Modiste Supplies, a
threads and yarns wholesaler from San Nicolas, Manila

II. Production Schedule


RePorma produces products and offers services in both Continuous and
Just-in-time mode of production. RePorma Clothing Brand manufactures finished
products that are made from basic materials in one continuous process without
interruption. Since RePorma does not only offer products, this clothing brand
also exhibit a Just-in-time mode of production. It minimizes the time, labor, and
materials in a manufacturing process by only producing goods as they are
needed. The desired outcome is a streamlined production system that maintains
a minimal amount of on-site raw materials, minimal wait times in the production

process, and small batch sizes.

III. Processing Equipment

organization engaged in manufacturing, exporting, and supplying garment
processing plants and equipment to its esteemed clients. RePorma products

V. Production Process
RePorma produces the products in a customization way. In this manner,
RePorma produces goods one at a time according to the specific needs or wants
of an individual to make sure that each product produced is unique. Particulars
for the activity can change over the course of production depending on the
customer’s review to meet their changing needs.

1. Allocation of Materials
RePorma starts the process with the allocation of the materials. Each
customer will provide their certain clothes that they want RePorma to transform
but they also have an option to pick clothes that are available in RePorma, which
is form their ukay-ukay and overruns suppliers.

2. Gathering of Materials and Planning


Senior Apparel and Fashion Designer will start to gather materials and plan
unique design that will fit in the customer’s demands. The clothes that will be
used will go through sanitizing and laundry process to make sure that they are all
safe to use since it is from ukay-ukay stores.

3. Product Making
Once the clothes are clean, the product making begins.
3.1 Make a pattern out of the customer’s body measurements. This part
is a time-consuming process since it has to be precise to each
measurements to avoid major adjustments.
3.2 Cut out the fabric according to the pattern of the design.
3.3 Once the cutting was completed, all cut pieces were put together in
sets.
3.4 Select the right color of the thread to match the color of the fabric.
3.5 Adjust the sewing machine according to the specific type of fabric.
3.6 Begin laying out the set and sew together the pieces until the design
comes to life.
3.7 Do some finishing touches before transferring the clothes to the
sampling unit.

4. Finished Goods
Once the clothes are done, it must be transferred to the sampling unit. If
no adjustments are needed, RePorma will pack the product properly in order
to protect the goods inside during the delivery process.

5. Equipment
Regular inspection of the equipment for manufacturing will be done. A

proper disposal place for the materials used will be implied and unused
materials will have a proper storage compartment and preserve for future
use.

VI. Storage and Inventory Control System


RePorma has no physical store and the business will run through the use of
social media, therefore, every equipment and materials will be stored in a studio
type unit. The processing equipment and supplied clothes will take much of the
room while the materials such as sewing threads and needles will be placed in a
large organized cabinets that will fit the materials and has enough space for
more materials to be bought.

Some inventory items are dependent demand. It is where the demand for
inventory of an item is dependant upon another item - such as the provided
clothe/s of the customer.
