    In view of the threats posed by the dreaded Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19), the
    Honorable City Mayor Valdemar M. Chiong requested this August Body, in a letter
    dated March 12, 2020, to hold a special session and pass a resolution declaring a state of
    calamity in the City of Naga, Cebu.

    The declaration will allow the City Government to use the Thirty percent (30%) Quick
    Response Fund (QRF) from the approved 2020 Local Disaster Risk Reduction
    Management Fund Investment Plan (LDRRMFIP).

    In this regard, this serves as an official notice to all the distinguished members of this
    Sanggunian to hold the special session on MARCH 13, 2020 (FRIDAY), 2 P.M. AT SP
    SESSION HALL.
